Traffic ticket

I have a Pennsylvania driver’s license. I was recently pulled over in New York because I failed to move over while a police vehicle was pulling over another car on the side of the road. I mailed the ticket to the court with a guilty plea via USPS, but the tracking still shows “In Transit” or “Moving through Network.”

I no longer have the ticket number and tried to look it up, but couldn’t find it. What should I do if the ticket gets lost in the mail?
