Who do those cops think they are? I mean, really? They strip-searched a 15-year-old girl, on her period no less! And for what? No drugs were found. Was it just some twisted power trip? It’s like, ‘Hey, let’s violate this poor girl’s rights and dignity, because… why not?’ I hope those officers got more than just fired, their bosses should be held accountable too. The whole system failed Child Q. And hey, can someone tell me why the hell this took so long to come out? Shouldn’t we have heard about this sooner?
The fact that they (the police) chalked it up to poor training on their behalf. That they didn’t have the proper training yet they were able to be working with the vulnerable populations. That’s disgusting.
I feel for Child Q and having to go through that as a young child and now young adult. Also that it happened 5 years ago and only recently resolved. That’s too long!

They belong in prison for assaulting a minor, not fired.
