As the title says. Selling all my belongings and hitting the road in a few days. I realize more now than ever that I am a little too left leaning to feel safe in TX anymore. My car is gassed up and I am almost all packed up. Where should I go ? What should I do? Looking to have some fun along the way, maybe tips on odd cash here and there. I have never been homeless. No family or friends but I love people and new experiences. Looking for advice, laughs, and tips on how to start my life over the fun way !
Unemployed 6 months and homeless in 3 days. Looking to sell everything and leave TX to start anew. Where should I go ?

Have you checked out the site CoolWorks? You can sort by places that provide housing but it covers all sorts of parks and camps that are looking for help.
San Francisco. You’ll fit right in.
Canada. Get away from Trump
I would also recommend Canada, specifically Alberta, because it’s our version of Texas, just more tolerant.
Southern Oregon. Relatively cheap prices and gorgeous weather (providing you are ok with 4 solid months of rain each winter).
Any first world welfare country where being unemployed for only 6 month don’t make you homeless.
Western Europe is a good example.
New Mexico! We welcome you.
Phoenix Arizona- it’s a dry heat
move to another country, it is only going to get worse here. your state voted for a fascist imbecile for president. stop your crying.
Come to Illinois. We’re obviously a Blue state but outside of Chicago, prices are quite low. Champaign, Springfield, Bloomington are great.
Don’t leave Texas. Move to Houston. It is a totally blue city. Property prices are low. Texas is an energy powerhouse with not only lots of oil but also some of the largest solar/battery utility scale installations. When the US goes into recession Texas will be the only state with a growing economy.
If you like agriculture and hippies you can check out woofing (Working on Organic Farms) a lot the farmers give you room and board to help with farm work. I had friends travel around doing this for a few years and they loved it.
