I made a post a few days ago seeking support about having a bisalp. I’ve had the surgery and am at home recovering now. I wanted to thank everyone who posted, it was really helpful to calm my nerves and process my emotions.
During surgery the Dr mentioned she removed a small amount of endometriosis and that my uterus is adhered to my abdominal wall, likely due to my csections.
I will speak to my Dr more next week but I’m really curious about what these things mean.
I’ve heard a lot about endometriosis from other women’s experiences but I thought it was an ongoing/chronic condition. Can I have endo spontaneously in my 30s? And after some light googling I saw a uterus adhering to the abdominal wall can happen after multiple csections but it’s uncommon, has this happened to anyone else and how did it affect your health long term?

Adhesions happen and small amount of Endo might not produce a lot pain.
Some research I’ve compiled and continue to update that you might find helpful https://www.canva.com/design/DAGmQraPRAI/CD0-sBSgIMv8OLCM_9oM7w/edit
It’s actually pretty wild how many different things can go wrong in the uterus and pelvis, adhesions, endo… I mean ENDOMETRIOSIS! No idea why that’s so hard for docs to spell. Anyway, you’re taking all the right steps, getting educated, asking questions… What really gets my goat is how often these issues get dismissed or undiagnosed by clueless male doctors, I’ve seen it happen way too many times. So kudos to you for not giving up! How do you stay so patient and persistent in the face of all this uncertainty?
