Hello there everyone. Thank you all for your support and suggestions on my last post.
In case you guys don’t know what happened, I made a post explaining what happened but since I can’t post links here, I’ll give a brief recap.
So about 3 nights ago, I walked in on my girlfriend cheating on me with my best friend. It was a horrific sight to see and by far the worst betrayal I’ve ever had, and in the moment I felt the worst I’d ever felt in my life. I then went to my parents’ house where I told them everything and they supported me through it.
That brings that to date, so now onto the update.
So after that night, I woke up to a lot of text messages and missed calls from Liam and Sabrina, but I just blocked their numbers, then after that I went to Reddit to make the original post. I got up and went downstairs to the kitchen and made cereal. My dad came in shortly after and told me your typical Good Morning, How are you, stuff like that. He then asked me how I’m doing after the whole situation. I showed him their blocked numbers and screenshots of their messages and missed calls, he told me not to bother with them for now since they aren’t worth my time for betraying me the way they did. After that, the day went on, I broke down a few times because I was still depressed after the whole ordeal. I saw some of your comments and suggestions on what I should do, I eventually went back to my house later that day, and surprisingly Liam and Sabrina were gone. They don’t live in the house with me, like I said Sabrina was only staying over for the week. I got the locks changed, as well as my bedsheets and blankets because I am NOT sleeping on the same sheets as those cheaters did. Then I laid down and took a nap because the day had just been long and painful for me. I woke up a few hours later to a text from a number I didn’t recognize and the message read “Screw you!”, I replied “Who is this?”, and they replied “I’m Sabrina’s father, and she told me everything, about how you cheated behind your back.”, I replied “What are you on about? I did not cheat! She has it all backwards, she’s the cheater here.”, he replied with “You’re just bitter that she broke up because of your dumbass mistakes.”, I honestly didn’t know if it was actually her father or if it was Sabrina or someone close to her pretending to be just to guilt trip or gaslight me, so I just blocked the number. I eventually ordered a pizza for dinner that night since it is one of my comfort foods, and I went back to bed again after finishing it, and I just woke up this morning. Neither Sabrina or Liam have tried anything as of now, at least not that I know of. I just thought I’d give you all a well-deserved update.
