I need to breakup with my girlfriend of 3 years who I currently share a lease with. I am a lost guy in my 20s and would greatly appreciate any sage wisdom the group can provide.
I pay the majority of rent and whatnot but am just gonna let the lease run out. I think it’ll blindside her but I’ve already made up my mind

Why blindside her? Why not just have a conversation and explain your intent?

If situation was reversed, would you appreciate being blindsided.
Find a time and have a discussion, being prepared for if she leaves you holding the lease.
Ask for her thoughts on the living circumstances moving forward.
