With 2k26 coming out, it feels like it’s the exact same thing as 2k25 but with slightly different mechanics. This goes with all of the CoD’s that get released every year. Warzone stays free(?????) but every year you have to buy the next shitty version of CoD so that you stay up to date on guns and progression and blah blah blah. I’m sick of it. You have to pay $60+ on the game and then spend money on micro transactions just to have fun, or else you’ll easily get bored of the already shitty game that you just bought. It’s so frustrating and these company’s feed on the stupidity of us throwing money at them just to sit in a chair for hours. Video games suck because of these greedy ass companies doing everything to milk as much money from us as possible. Not to mention, none of it is TANGIBLE. You pay $60+ for the game just to NOT OWN IT. If they shut the game down, YOURE SHIT OUT OF LUCK. They’re literally printing money out of thin air just by writing a few lines of code. The only game that might be worth it is GTA VI, but I bet Rockstar will water it down with insane micro transactions just to be able to play the next mission.
Edit: I guess yall think that my $60 a year is a direct result of them putting the same slop out. My point is that there’s millions of people putting vasts amount of money and we’re letting them get away with it. Kinda like how we’re all letting the orange man drive the country into the ground but y’all aren’t ready for that convo clearly.

You don’t have to buy them
So buy better games? You’re the one buying annualized slop.
Why are you buying them every year?
Literally don’t buy them. Or buy every other year, or buy one and just play it. No one is forcing you to buy the newest edition of a game.
