Vtubers are a bad influence

I think most people don’t realize how deep the statement of seen most Vtubers as weirdos or people that lack real-life social skills go. As years ago, when I started therapy, I got to know many people that were hooked to this Vtuber content, as I was in a therapy group to better my social skills, and it did not help me at all, as most people in the group I was were too far gone, and as we were all 16 or so, and most of them had been on the group for 5 years, as in Spain, you don’t have to pay for therapy, as it is covered by your school if you ain’t working. They were constantly trying to act like their favorite Vtubers, and talking about all the dramas of the community like their lifes were at stake, and their therapist were constantly threatening them to kick them out of therapy, as it seemed to be the only think that worked, as they wanted to stay with the people that shared their passion for Vtubers.

So whats my point? It’s that Vtubers normalize things that are not OK, as self hatred, histrionic behavior, been as intense as posible and acting like a child, which lead to many kind of mental issues, but mostly social ones, as the target audience for Vtubers are kids, and if you see the jokes they constantly make, and the kind of behavior they have to entertain children, it’s odd, as it’s purely depraved in mist cases, in others it’s just an adult acting cute, childish and silly, which is odd but for a weirdo audience, but others, which are sadly the majority, just act in the most laud and sexual way possible, swearing to show a maturity that they clearly don’t have, talking about bad topics, such as no eating, sexual stuff, wanting to commit suicide and how they hate x thing for a reason they won’t say, and then act smart about it.

In conclusion, I feel like Vtubers just deprave children, ruining their childhood for a living, obviously it’s not 100% their blame, they just making a living out of it, but it’s questionable at best, not all Vtubers are bad, as some have their thing, like programming or doing whatever, you know what Vtubers/artist I mean.
