[WH40k/General] Are There Any Fictional Universes Where It Would Better to Join Chaos?

r/

So which fictional universes would be better to join Chaos if you lived there as a normal person? This can include being undivided or serving Khorne, Nurgle, Slannessh, or Tzeentch.

Now I know 40k is a really terrible place to live, and even then joining Chaos is probably not worth it, yet I am certain there are far worse universes to live in than in 40k. Even for universes that are better to live in, an argument can be made that joining chaos might still be the better option due to the blessing of the chaos gods.

Basically want I am trying to say is that I don’t think a universe needs to be a nightmarish hellhole to make joining Chaos worth it. If the universe makes earning Chaos blessings easier than it could be a good option. That being said, are there any fictional universes where these two factors can apply?

Right off the bat, if I lived in the Final Destination universe I am going to be joining up with Nurgle. If something as simple as a soup on the ground is enough to horrifically kill me then I honestly find hard to not take whatever the Grandfather is offering.

Rule 12. General questions relating to fiction with wildly varying folklore such as werewolves, zombies, and vampires are discouraged. There’s simply too much variance! Likewise, general categories like “fantasy” or “superheroes” could incorporate any of hundreds of worlds, each of which has its own unique rules and assumptions and no two of which are exactly alike. Feel free to ask questions relating to specific works of fiction.
