What app should I use to play music at a funeral?

r/

I’m in charge of playing music at my dad’s funeral on Friday. I have the track list (some music ripped from CDS, some tracks recorded by the family), and I’m to play the tracks for a moment of reflection in between people giving little speeches.

I’m hoping for an iPad app (or android app) that I can load the 12 MP3 files into, and when I press play, the next track will play, and stop when it finishes, then when I press play again the next track will play, etc.

I could use iTunes, but I’m scared of miss timing hitting pause, at the end of the track and it starting to play the next one, or losing my place in the track list. I’m also speaking between two of the tracks so I want it to be super simple because my brain is going to be fried!

Any suggestions would be very much welcome.

instead of the regular music apps, maybe try something super simple like “simple music player” on android or “mp3 player” (the free one with the orange icon) on iPad. You can usually just load your tracks in order and when one stops you just tap play again for the next. It’s pretty basic and should hopefully keep things stress free for you on Friday.
