Mainly asking as some of the time I feel I do have too many thoughts too often about sexual inappropriate acts. And just wanted to step back from it not completely ofcourse just calm down almost.
What are recommendations for controlling hormones, I.e. getting turned on too often etc.

You need to touch grass, in real life.
Begin working out, running, joining a hiking group, etc. you are simply probably sitting around with way too much time on your hands fapping like a goon.
Exhaust your physical energy and focus on something productive. For example, Start playing guitar or another hobby that is super cheap that can last a life time with a little self control.
What is wrong with that ? Think about when you will not have this thoughts anymore, not when you have them. Seriously, I’m 51 and I’m horny all the times, it’s not that I start to walk around and grab asses of course, but what the heck. I mean I’m at the office now and thinking about my half naked wife in bed with me this morning makes me crazy horny….
You are not your thoughts, just cause you think something doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with you. People have varying libidos, nothing wrong with that. I’m someone like you who has a very high sex drive and I’m not sitting around bored, I do shit all day and still think about sex often.
Do things other than goon all day.
