What are some good super comfortable work boots?

r/

I need boots that I can stand in 8 hours a day, maximum comfort. Preferable for them to have steel toe and waterproof but it’s fine if not.

I have a pair of Georgia Barracuda, steel toe boots.

I have a lot of foot pain because my feet were crushed in a car wreck several years ago. These boots greatly alleviate that pain. Since I’m on my feet all day at work, they’ve been a godsend. well worth the rather hefty price tag. My boss bought me this pair. But I’d definitely be willing to buy them myself when they need replaced. I’ve had them for a little over a year. The soles are unevenly worn because of my foot problems. But the rest of the boots are still in great shape. I’ll probably be able to get another year out of them before the soles are completely ruined From me limping and dragging my feet everywhere.

I will say this though. I have flat feet, so boots without heavy arch support was a big thing I was looking for. If you have strong arches, you can probably find insoles that match your feet better than the mostly flat ones the boots come with. In my case though, flat insoles were good.

So I’ve been using the same exact type of boots for the last 11 years with no issues: They’re the Force variety of the brand Interceptor. I buy them at wal mart and theyre about $35 a pair. Steel toe, buy half a size up and they’re extremely comfortable.

The only reason I’ve had to buy them is because i have two pairs, one for work and one for everything else. I play dek hockey in my second pair for most of the year so once they get done in I downgrade my work pair and then buy a new pair for work. I don’t mind spending 35 once a year for the consistency I have with them.

I’m a roofer and walk miles, my preferred boots are x army boots as they are usually new and water proof but I walk 27000 steps a day so don’t wear trainers

Lowa Z8s gtx. Absolutely ridiculous comfort. I’ve spent thousands on boots over the years, and my everyday work boots are Nick’s builder pros, but Lowa Z8s is without question the most comfortable boots I’ve ever put on my feet. Try them and you will question ever single boot maker that exists and silently wish you could ask them all what the hell is wrong with them.
