In São Paulo, Brazil:
I think these are the most prominent here, given the large diaspora of Italian, Arab and Japanese immigrants in the region.
The city is huge and cosmopolitan, so you can find absolutely anything you’re searching for. Burgers made in an American style are becoming more and more popular here, too.
Chinese, specifically Cantonese. Not even close.
I dont even know the answer. Italian? Possibly. But that is a good question! Maybe portuguese but portuguse culture is so diluted into brazilian cuisine that i dont even know that we would recognize it anymore.
The most common are American fast food chains like McDonald’s, KFC, Domino’s, etc. I don’t know if you count them as foreign.
After that:
Chinese,
Italian ,
Japanese
Lebanese ,
Spanish,
Korean
A lot of these are not authentic and many times they are mixed with Mexican cuisine.
Peruvian cuisine and it’s many, many fusion cuisines. Even chinese-chilean food has it’s peruvian roots.
I’ll add that Japanese, Korean and Taiwanese food sites are insanely trendy within zoomers, specially in Santiago. Bubble tea’s popularity has been exponentially growing in the last few years.
Bolivia: Peruvian, Mexican, US American fast food styles.
Chinese
I’d say Chinese and Japanese… but those aren’t authentic unfortunately, they have to change to Peruvian taste and it’s called Chifa and Nikkei.
Italian is pretty popular by demand too. And it keeps its originally. Venezuelan food is also something you’ll find pretty much everywhere but it has its own niche.
