If you stink after a shower you aren’t taking a good enough of a shower

Exfoliate. And dry off completely. Also maybe see a doctor.

I use deodorant and body spray under my arms and powder on my balls. Seems to do the trick.

Sometimes hair holds onto a lot of smell, shave and try to use body powder to keep the moisture low, worked for me

Off the top of my head, and in no particular order:

    1. Use soap and water to wash your butthole. Rub the wet soap on your hand or washcloth, and use it to wash your butthole. Wash your hands with soap and water when you’re done. I cannot stress enough (especially if you live in a country that uses toilet paper instead of a bidet) that if you do not wash your butthole, you are walking around with smeared poop on your ass all the time.
    2. Use an abrasive surface to exfoliate your skin. I dry-brush my skin before I get in the shower to loosen dead skin, and then I use a shower brush with soap to scrub my body just like I’d brush my teeth. In areas where a shower brush is too abrasive, I use a washcloth… and I wash it.
    3. Wash your towels and your sheets regularly. Not washing your sheets is like not washing your clothes, and it’s going to make you stink. Not washing your towel eventually means just rubbing mildew all over your body after a shower.

For me it was lifestyle change. I started eating clean, cut out sugar, carbs and processed foods and I noticed my body oder almost completely vanished. I’d try that if you haven’t already. For reference I am 6’2” and I went from 296lbs to 228lbs in the past 2 years.

Watch your diet, something that you must be eating might make your sweat smell wierd.

This tends to be more. If a woman’s trick but getting out of the shower and putting lotion on while still wet (not dripping obviously) and matching ur scents lotion + perfume + what body wash u use and then obviously deodorant

Every few months, go get a real Korean body scrub. You will feel your top layer skin cells scraped off your body. This is most likely genetics & diet, assuming you’re a generally clean and hygienic person.

I’d say it’s mostly diet, exercise (overall health). You ppssibly have some kind of food allergy too. (A lot of people do, unbeknownst to them.) A lot of people are gluten intolerant or have an adverse reaction to processed carbs, also sugars. Eating foods your body is allergic to will be reflected – in tour appearance, your odor, your energy, everything. Just get healthier overall. Clean your body from the inside- stay hydrated, eat clean, exercise. It takes time though to really transform your body inside and out l. It’s lifestyle change. I really tapped into clean eating and overall health within the past year or 2. I still am noticing improvements to this day, so I’d say real transformative change takes time. Several months, into the years you’ll still find progress.

    Shave your pits.

Hair traps a lot of swear and odour.

    1. Bar soap > gels and if you love gels so much get a silicone loofah, regular loofahs are meant to be changed out every few days which most people don’t do. The silicone ones are washable and reusable.

    2. One bar of soap for your body, one for ya ass, and i even use one for my feet. I use Dr Squatch.

    3. Condition once a day, shampoo every 2-3 days. I use Jack Black for all my hair products. I also use nizoral once a week to prevent dandruff.

    4. One towel for your hair and face, one for above the waist, one for your ass, one for below the waist. Change every 6 uses or 3 days MINIMUM.

    5. Cleanse, exfoliate, and moisturize your face in that order once a day. I use Jack Black for cleanser and moisturizer, strydex pads to exfoliate.

    6. Face lotion is not body lotion, and body lotion is not hand lotion. Jack Black for lotion. I moisturize morning and night because my region is dry af. I also use aquaphor lip balm daily.

    7. Brush your teeth twice a day and floss once. Sensodyne tooth paste is the best. Buy a Phillips electric tooth brush the rest of inferior.

    8. Trim your body hair, even your arm pit hair. You don’t need to go to skin but trimming helps reduce odor.

    9. You ONLY touch your bed after you’ve showered and put clean inside clothes on. Anything else is just gross.

    10. Don’t just clip your nails, file them so they are smooth.

    11. Every man should have a buzzer, shaver, straight razor, and hair scissors. I don’t trim my nether region with buzzers, only scissors personally. Those scissors ONLY trim my nether regions and NOTHING else.

    12. Clean your room once a week same as your bed sheets and pillow cases. This includes all surfaces and your floor.

    13. Cologne is good but it is a dangerous hobby as it becomes addictive for alot of people (I’m one of those people). You realistically only need 4 colognes, one for each season.

    14. Find a good barber that understands facial structures and you’ll never get a bad haircut. If you have a beard you find a barber with a beard.

    15. Preservative free eyedrops + heated eye mask + eyelid wipes are very helpful for eye health and reducing aging around the area.

    16. Stop using deodorants that are also antiperspirants. I use Dr Squatch deodorant, and if I NEED it I’ll use Arm and Hammer antiperspirant. I mean NEED, not just want. Aluminum takes about 3/4wks to detox from. It’s not unhealthy perse, but overusing it negates all positives.

    17. You never wear socks, underwear, shirts, or pajamas twice without cleaning. Pants are an exception and so are jackets/sweatshirts, but you never wear those +2 times without cleaning.

I got more but those are the main ones. I feel very strongly about mens hygiene and self care cause I was never taught it. Had to learn for myself.

Clean underarms and groin with dandruff shampoo. The chemicals kill the bacteria

Eat and drink as clean as you can. Use goat milk soap and deodorant.

  17. Darth_Dagobah Avatar

Wear deodorant. A shower can only do so much. Don’t use that natural shit either. You’ll still smell like cheeks.

I’d bet this is a diet problem if find you smell bad even an hour or two after bathing properly, especially if your sweat is the cause.
