I am in the 1% club of rare cancer. I have a chordoma located in the clivus region. Less than 1% of all primary brain tumors are diagnosed as chordomas. This type of tumor can invade adjacent bone and put pressure on nearby nerve tissue. My tumor is currently almost touching my brain stem. I am having surgery to remove the affected bone but it’s risky.
