Indifferent. Unless they’re one of those “I play chess, I’m so smart” people, then negative.

Neutral/indifferent. I don’t consider it a trait. More of a hobby or an interest. To form a negative or a positive opinion I would have to hear them talk about it and the role it has in their life more.

In my experience, I generally find it very attractive if they’re good at chess. 🤷‍♀️

    Indifferent. Kinda like gaming.

Cooking, woodworking and playing an instrument, however.. very positive

I’ll play chess, but it’s not something I think about on a regular game. Or even just sometimes. It’s just a game. I wouldn’t even think to bring it up on a date.

I enjoy chess, but I couldn’t imagine making judgements based on whether a person plays or not. It’s like asking what I think of people who like puzzles. It’s a hobby.
