None. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 My union has been in very intense and contentious bargaining for over a year now, plus I was taking a course this semester that’s taken more than 250 hours of my time and still some to go. I’m trying to read a foundational text in my advisor’s field but a) no time and b) honestly, don’t really care, it’s not what I do. I haven’t even read a newspaper through since November.
I’m in political science, and I’ve read very few books related to my discipline. Only Kenneth Lowande’s False Front: The Failed Promise of Presidential Power in a Polarized Age (2024) comes to mind. I have read a handful of history books though, mostly aimed at general audiences.
“What is Life?” By Erwin Schrödinger was nice. I also am about to finish “Rashmirathee”, a Hindi poem. Also started “Homo Deus” by Harrari recently.
I also read the first two books in “The Three Body Problem” series.

Fuckin nothin dawg what do you suggest
I’m on the tenure track. I don’t have time to read books. Sadly…
Mostly papers and technical documents. Books are too long and slow for what I’m doing right now.
