I use a slim card keeper from Machine Era, it’s metal. Several people have mentioned it…. and no Costanza wallet to mess the back up
E: I’ve had mine for like 8 years (replaced the elastic band a handful of times)… just checked and they’re $92 now 🙁 crazy. The new design has a bottle opener cut into the back, so that’s something, I guess (I don’t drink)
I know they’re way over priced but I love Louis Vuittons wallets.
That said, Coach also makes really good quality at a way more favorable price.
Tom Ford seems good to I just don’t know much about them.
The brand doesn’t matter. Make sure it’s real leather. Make sure it’s functional – credit cards fit tight enough and can’t fall. Make sure banknotes fit in without sticking out. Make sure “taller” banknotes like the Euro fit in without sticking out if outside the US. Ideally it should be black or brown – matching the shoes, the belt and the watch strap (if leather). Also not too bulky, it should be comfortable for the pocket.
If he uses a card keeper – get something with cool metallic finish – carbon fiber, brushed aluminum, titanium (it scratches a bit more, but that adds charm). But most people don’t use those.
For the love of god – stay away from Louis Vuitton! That’s a brand for people who are not rich, but try to look rich. It’s pretentious and for men without class.
I can’t comment on brands specifically so apologies if this is irrelevant but imo something dark, well constructed, and thin with minimal branding says “put together”. You don’t need to carry a lot of shit on you in this day and age so something thin demonstrates that you’re not carrying around 10 year old receipts and business cards.

I’ll be honest. I’ve never considered the appearance of my wallet. Up until recently, I was using one with the Superman logo on it, because it was a gift.
A Velcro wallet is ideal. I’ve had mine 45 years. It’s in my back pocket now.
I don’t know the brand, I’m not sure there even is one, but I’ve got a nice hand made shell leather wallet with two quick access card slots and an opening in the middle for maybe 4-5 more. It’s minimal and works perfectly. Stops me from carrying around a bunch of crap I don’t need, let’s me use a money clip which I just like the romantic idea of. My wife got it for me a few years ago and because it uses real shell leather it still looks absolutely fantastic to this day

My fiancee got me a really nice leather one from Coach. I love it. Affordable, stylish, simplistic. Holds cards and money and stuff like we need it to.
