Hi all,
My friend and her fiancĂ© are relatively new parents. Their kid is 16 months now. I had the idea of making a care package for them, especially for my friend as I know post-partum has been a tough experience for her. I’d love some ideas on things I can put in the care package for her and her man. I think parenting seems hard and I just want to do something thoughtful to let them know I’m in their corner and don’t forget about them just cuz they’re parents and I’m not. Here are some ideas I have so far (open to additions and feedback, please!):
- Certificate for deep cleaning service
- Certificate for couples massage
- Book/journal for maternal mental health
- Quality hand creams, lip balms
- Dunkin gift card
- Hand written note
- DoorDash/UberEats gift card
Note: last time I visited them (we’re in diff states), I got gifts for their kid and some cupcakes + coffee mugs for them. Thank you all.
