Today, older folks might say “kids these days” to young people constantly being on their phones, having low attention spans, perceived lack of respect to their elders, new habits in general, etc. What did older people in your time/generation say that too?

Long hair and blue jeans.
The same things, except for cell phones it was TV and landlines.
Every generation has the same exact complaints about the generations that follow.
Oh yeah my dad said it and his father said it and his father before him. I have found as we grow older we fall into those habits as well. Like I never understood my father not liking my music and now I understand. 🙂
Don’t respect their elders. This was in the 80s and 90s.
Watch too much TV. Later played too many video games. Pretty stupid. Fred Flintstone probably complained about Pebbles spending too much time with cave paintings
Damn hippies and their clothes and drugs
Hippies, long hair, protesters against the war. The whole anti-establishment movement of not working and not joining the military.
My grandfather called me out in 1973 for getting my ears pierced and wearing “dungarees” he said I might as well be a gypsy! Yes, he was racist. My parents called that decade’s rock, just screaming noise.
