In my experience people love it. My niece and nephew loved it and my brother, who is an adult with only an infant too young to watch it, is obsessed. Iād be hard pressed to find a little kid or parent of small children who doesnāt know BlueyĀ
My niece ADORES it. To the point where itās actually kinda annoying. Iām worried that the only word she says until the age of 12 will be āBLUEY!ā holy crap. Still adorable, but oh my god.
Iāve been a preschool teacher for 7 years – Itās been very popular since Covid!
I love it myself & watch it with my niece & nephew, whenever they come over. My 2 year old nephew is currently obsessed, and itās what we watched while he was home sick during Easter.
Itās huge here and has been for a while. Even older kids seem to love it. I worked my kidās book fair last week and even the sixth graders were excited about the new Bluey books.
It’s really popular but I found it too chaotic. I’d rather my children watch something a little more laid back and quiet like little bear or blues clues. Bluey and Bingo are pretty cheeky, and kids imitate that.Ā
I love it! It was one of my favorite kids programs when my children were in that stage. It was a nice balance of sweet and silly and funny. My kids really loved it.
Extremely popular, personally one of my favorite shows actually lol. I think it beautifully captures parenting and can teach both young and older folks many great skills.
It’s cringe but I’ll even do the “take out your anger and throw it away” thing at times. It really helps ^^
The department store I work at is FILLED with Bluey toys, clothes, bedding, bath towels, etc. It’s insane how prominent it became over the past few years.
I sometimes experience ad nauseum over it with how everywhere it is, but I’d rather hear about kids watching that than something that is practically deteriorating their brains like Cocomelon is.
I recently volunteered at a local festival, and one of the big attractions was someone dressed in a big Bluey mascot costume taking pictures with the children.
My friend works in a children’s hospital and he tells me that Bluey is extremely popular among the kids.
Because itās for kids? Iāve only seen clips of it and it seems like a cute, fun show that adults could enjoy but itās obviously made with really young kids as the primary demographic.
Nothing wrong with kids media though, I enjoy plenty of kidsā cartoons.
Also Bluey adults online weird me out a little, but the same can be said for any obsessive fandom where grown adults center their whole identities around a certain IP.
I prefer Paw Patrol, but don’t dislike Bluey. My daughter (now 5YO) exclusively watched Paw Patrol when she was younger. My son is 18 months and has a cousin only 2 weeks younger. My sister in law had a bunch of Bluey toys and clothes for her daughter, now my 2 kids love Bluey after discovering it through their cousin and aunt.
Bluey is huge here. There is Bluey merch in almost every store. My kids have gone to several Bluey themed birthday parties and we had one for my youngest two years ago. It is a really great show to watch as a family and even my friend who doesnāt have kids has seen every episode.
My husband went to Melbourne for a month, and I made him bring some Bluey merch back. We were able to tell my friends daughter it was from where Bluey was from and she was sooo excited.
I donāt have children. I do know that this show is insanely popular. They have bluey apparel for adults. Minor league hockey and baseball teams have bluey promotions where you can meet bluey . Itās wild to me how popular it is.
Extremely popular here. I started watching it to connect with my niece because she loves it, and now I watch it by myself because I enjoy it š š My family even dressed as Bluey characters for Halloween last year!
Very popular. There are three kids beach towels at Costco right at the front (we’re in early spring so people in warm climates are going back to the beach after winter) and they’re Spiderman, Hello Kitty and Bluey.
Very popular and I’m even seeing Bluey stuff in places like Hot Topic (not sure the Oz equivalent, but it’s where edgy teenagers go to buy hair dye and anime shirts).
I know adults whose kids are grown who totally love it. Ā Very, very popular. Ā There are little kids going to pre school with Australian accents, apparently.
I feel like everytime I turn on Disney channel, Bluey is on. Which is great, because my son loves Bluey. All of his cousins and friends love Bluey. I love Bluey. The show is wonderful and possibly the best young kids tv show in a really long time
I think most kids and adults know Bluey. It’s very popular and I was technically forced to watch it, so I got used to waking up in the morning and seeing it on.
It’s genuinely not a bad show and pretty entertaining honestly… (Yes I’m 16 watching kid shows.)
I remember when my kids first started watching this show, when it first arrived in the US, there was like no mass-produced Bluey merchandise to be found. I looked because I really wanted to get my kids a shirt or something, and there just wasn’t much available outside of custom stuff on Etsy. But now there’s tons of product tie in with toys, clothes, stationery, lunch boxes, etc.
No lie, thanks to this show, my kids now speak with Australian terms for things, and also correct me if I use the regular American word. Ex. they’ll call the trash cans “bins” or say “ip dip sky blue” instead of “eenie meenie miney moe.” They always want to listen to the Bluey songs by Joff Bush on Spotify. This show has made a big impact on them.
I mostly love the show, it’s very creative and high quality, but it kind of annoys me at times how the parents are always playing with the kids and never telling the kids they can’t play with them at the moment. My kids will constantly be trying to, like suddenly make me be heavy while I’m cooking dinner or something, or activate “dance mode,” and expect me to play along with the game every single time. The show sets the bar really high for being constantly playful, engaged parents!
Itās great. I have a close friend who is Australian and now we live far apart. It reminds me of him. But, better yet, I didnāt grow up with my father around much. As a parent, I want my kids to have many things. Above all, I want them to be good people and to know much they are truly loved. Iām far from perfect but I try to be the best dad I can be. What I love is that Bandit shows how much he loves his girls. Heās not the bumbling dad but truly wants his kids to be cared for. I donāt know, man. I wouldnāt watch this on my own but, when itās on, I love watching it with my kids. Thereās plenty of episodes that are emotional. Especially the nighttime one with Holst playing. Great show.
As a 21 year old without a kid, itās adorable. The kind of TV we wish we grew up with. Itās one of the shows that the parents seem to love just as much as the kids and thatās rare!
Itās not just the most streamed kids show, nor is it just the most streamed program on Disney+. It is the most streamed across all paid platforms. Even most adults who have seen it here enjoy it. Thank you Australia.
I love it, I honestly eat really fast and never able to watch a full episode with the length of my meal, bluey is like the perfect length lol plus it makes me smile
My little cousins love the show and their parents donāt mind it as much as other kids shows. My younger cousin had a Bluey themed birthday party with matching shirts for her, her brother and their parents.
We watch it everyday, have tons of the toys, and I read one of the books to my daughter as her bedtime story every night. Itās pretty beloved in this house.
Yāall nailed it with Bluey. It has a unique quality about it that makes kids love it but also makes it resonate with parents in a very heavy way. Itās often described as a love letter to parents disguised as a kidās show, and that feels pretty accurate. My daughter loves it because itās about dogs and itās colorful. I love it because it has taught me to step back and appreciate the trials and triumphs of parenthood.
My grandkids love it. We watch it regularly. It’s well written and has good ethics and lessons or role modeling. Only thing I find funny is my grandkids start talking with a Aussie accent. Mumš
The kids like it, but where Bluey shines is with the parents. Y’all made an early childhood show that not only doesn’t make our ears bleed, but is even mildly entertaining to watch.
I babysit my grandkids 7,5,5,3 and they all watch it at their homes. Obviously, I end up watching with them. It’s cute and I like the graphics versus the stiff looking Japanese super out of space cartoons.
It’s insanely popular. Bluey is the reason my kid stopped calling me “Mama” and started calling me “mom” and I was mad about it but we didn’t stop watching it. It makes me cry on a regular basis.
I donāt have kids so Iāve never watched it but I know itās extremely popular and well regarded for a little kids show, I hear parents I know mention it a lot.
Likely to be this new generationās Arthur or Blueās Clues.
I got my friends a Bluey vinyl for Christmas as a bit of a wholesome laugh. It was the most envied gift of the bunch! Weāre in our late 20ās for context.
Itās really popular here. Iām personally not a fan. My kid likes it so I put it on for him. I recognize itās not a bad show and definitely not the worst thing your kid could watch. I am just still adjusting to being a parent and watching kids shows and have not grown a liking for any of them yet. My husband doesnāt mind it though.
I can’t stand it. BUT I’m a hatet for a lot of popular shows. My son watches bluey at the babysitters house i refuse to play it at home, he’s a pp or Thomas the train or blues clues fan. He owns nothing bluey and I swear to God I’m so out of the loop with this show bluey is the black one right? I can’t name any characters.
My 4 year old calls things ācheekyā. Lol Yeah Bluey is popular here. I even have a couple Bluey shirts that I wear when I know Iāll be out with him and I get compliments on them all the time when I wear them.
I have a job that requires me to go through security a lot but weāre allowed to have a lunchbox. I decided to get this Bluey themed lunchbox because I thought it was cute. I have received so many comments and had positive interactions because of that lunchbox! A LOT of people love Bluey or their kids or grandkids love Bluey so it really just hits them like a lightening bolt when they see it and they have the biggest smile!
If I had kids I wouldn’t make them watch it. It’s lame and devoid of humor. Young adults in 15 years are going to be so boring. Imagine listening to them quote bluey like we quote spongebob. May god have mercy on us all.
Comments
FantasticĀ
It’s very popular among children and the parents of those children seem to like it a lot too.
Very popular here.
My fiancĆ©e and I frequently babysit my nephews (theyāre cute and itās practice for kids). They adore it.Ā
Very popular here
We dig it! One of the few shows I’m ok with my nephews watching
Everything from “never watched it” to “where was this when I was a kid”.Ā
There’s an entire Bluey section in the toys department at my local department store. It’s huge here.
We all love Bluey
Bluey is very popular. Its the #1 most streamed show in the US as of 2024.
It’s parents least hated kids show.Ā
In my experience people love it. My niece and nephew loved it and my brother, who is an adult with only an infant too young to watch it, is obsessed. Iād be hard pressed to find a little kid or parent of small children who doesnāt know BlueyĀ
It’s probably the most popular show for that age demographic at the moment
It’s on 24/7 at my sister’s place for her kids.
My daughter loves it, she sleeps with a Bingo and Bluey plush, not to mention pajamas and underwear
Wow! Seems like u guys like it more than us š¤£
It was the most streamed show on Disney+ last year
Bluey is great. I’m also a Chicago Bears fan and Tory Taylor is amazing!
Super popular among kids and their parents
My 2-1/2 year odd grandson loves it. Has all the merch as well.
My niece ADORES it. To the point where itās actually kinda annoying. Iām worried that the only word she says until the age of 12 will be āBLUEY!ā holy crap. Still adorable, but oh my god.
At least it isnāt dora or frozen š¤·āāļø
Love it, and I donāt even have little kids š¤£
It must be really popular, because I see Bluey stuff everywhere: backpacks, diapers, books, coloring books, even Bluey cereal.
Very popular. I even know adults who watch it.
Iāve been a preschool teacher for 7 years – Itās been very popular since Covid!
I love it myself & watch it with my niece & nephew, whenever they come over. My 2 year old nephew is currently obsessed, and itās what we watched while he was home sick during Easter.
My kids love it. I find myself very entertained by it. My 2 year old is very proud of the Bluey comforter on her bed.
Love it. Wish we got all the episodes and unedited
Itās huge here and has been for a while. Even older kids seem to love it. I worked my kidās book fair last week and even the sixth graders were excited about the new Bluey books.
Fuckinā Bandit is setting the bar so high for me as a father. /s
Great show though.
We like it a lot. Like a LOT
very popular here as well. my kids don’t love it as much as some others seem to but they like it alright.
Itās a great kid show. My little nephews love it.
It’s really popular but I found it too chaotic. I’d rather my children watch something a little more laid back and quiet like little bear or blues clues. Bluey and Bingo are pretty cheeky, and kids imitate that.Ā
Too popular here.
I donāt have kids, donāt babysit, never watch kids channels, etc. etc. and Iāve heard that Bluey is one of the best kids TV programs out there.
Pretty great. Got to know it through my grandsons.
I like it but my kid would not watch it
I love it! It was one of my favorite kids programs when my children were in that stage. It was a nice balance of sweet and silly and funny. My kids really loved it.
Looove it. My kids are 9 and 6 and both love it.Ā
Itās very popular. I even know adults without kids that watch it.
Itās incredibly popular with small children, but it does give them unrealistic ideas about Christmas weather.
Extremely popular.
Extremely popular, personally one of my favorite shows actually lol. I think it beautifully captures parenting and can teach both young and older folks many great skills.
It’s cringe but I’ll even do the “take out your anger and throw it away” thing at times. It really helps ^^
I love bluey!! I have no children and watch it.
Fabulous
I’ve only heard of it in passing but I don’t have kids. Couldn’t tell you anything about it. Makes me think of Blue’s Clues lol.
Itās amazing and everyone I know who is aware of it loves it.Ā
My boy loves Bluey.
Bluey is way less baby-crackish than Cocomelon, and isn’t a piece of shit like Peppa Pig, so I’m on board as well.
My kids haven’t ever watched stuff like that, so I don’t really have an opinion.
lol. We put bluey on for my dog every time we leave the house. He used to get paw patrol
Its the only kids show that doesn t seem to think kids are idiots. Its actually watchable by adults
Because it’s child and family oriented
My granddaughters are big fans.

My sister in law had a bunch of Bluey toys and clothes for her daughter, now my 2 kids love Bluey after discovering it through their cousin and aunt.
Niece had a Bluey themed birthday today lol
I’m not familiar with this kids show.
Bluey is huge here. There is Bluey merch in almost every store. My kids have gone to several Bluey themed birthday parties and we had one for my youngest two years ago. It is a really great show to watch as a family and even my friend who doesnāt have kids has seen every episode.
it’s very popular with kids over here.
As a former owner of a blue heeler, I’m glad to see the profile raised of Australian Cattledogs. They’re such good dogs.
I know so many children who are obsessed with it.
My husband went to Melbourne for a month, and I made him bring some Bluey merch back. We were able to tell my friends daughter it was from where Bluey was from and she was sooo excited.
Itās my jam
Iāve vaguely heard of it. Definitely never seen it, no opinion on it all since I hardly know what it is.
I donāt have children. I do know that this show is insanely popular. They have bluey apparel for adults. Minor league hockey and baseball teams have bluey promotions where you can meet bluey . Itās wild to me how popular it is.
Not big on it
I didn’t watch it until I had a kid, but it is a masterpiece. Just perfect.
It’s really good. I like it probably as much as my toddler does.
Weāve seen every episode.Ā
My 4 year old has a very convincing Australian accent due to Bluey. We love it.
Extremely popular here. I started watching it to connect with my niece because she loves it, and now I watch it by myself because I enjoy it š š My family even dressed as Bluey characters for Halloween last year!
I discovered it late as my kids are older. I love it, though. Very sweet.Ā
Apparently it’s pretty popular. Is it new? I’m 30 with no children so I’m not tapped in with childrens shows post 2005ish.
Best show ever. Bandit for President.Ā
I have a two year old and I love it because there are jokes for adults in it!
Very popular. There are three kids beach towels at Costco right at the front (we’re in early spring so people in warm climates are going back to the beach after winter) and they’re Spiderman, Hello Kitty and Bluey.
My niece is addicted to it
Mostly they love it. I fucking hate it.
Very popular and I’m even seeing Bluey stuff in places like Hot Topic (not sure the Oz equivalent, but it’s where edgy teenagers go to buy hair dye and anime shirts).
My kid is grown, but I love Bluey. I love that it’s actually voiced by kids, and not adults pretending to be kids.
Everyone I know is in love with it. I even went out of my way to setup some Bluey stuff around the Christmas tree last year.
When season 3 finally dropped here in the states, my wife and I binged it after the kids went to bed.
I like it and so does the kid.
As close to universally beloved as anything can be in the US these days
Scooby-Doo, Clifford the big red dog, and Blueās Clues are all better, unless youāre under 5 years old then you are obsessed with bluey
It’s certainly one of if not the most popular small children’s show in this country right now.
The show is wonderful and possibly the best young kids tv show in a really long time
check r/bluey
it’s very popular
I LOVE BLUEY
I think most kids and adults know Bluey. It’s very popular and I was technically forced to watch it, so I got used to waking up in the morning and seeing it on.
It’s genuinely not a bad show and pretty entertaining honestly… (Yes I’m 16 watching kid shows.)
It was #1 most streamed show in America in all of 2024.
Love it. Some of the best non-PBS kids content out there at the moment
Oh yes very popular! I love the show!
My nephew loves it. Sometimes he pronounces words in an Australian accent from watching it so much. Wich is funny.Ā
We love it.
Pretty much anyone with kids loves it.
Hurray!
Top tier. Not too long. I love bandit.
Our daughter is 15 so we missed Bluey, but Wife teaches K-5 music so we know Bluey.
The jokes and situations that will totally go over a kidās head are just hilarious. Wale Watching? Yup been there, done that, got the t-shirt. š
I remember when my kids first started watching this show, when it first arrived in the US, there was like no mass-produced Bluey merchandise to be found. Itās the greatest show ever made
Love it! It’s a show for parents masquerading as a show for kids.
My husband and I don’t have kids and we watch an episode almost every night before bed.
As a 21 year old without a kid, itās adorable. The kind of TV we wish we grew up with. Itās one of the shows that the parents seem to love just as much as the kids and thatās rare!
Itās definitely the most popular show for little kids as far as I know.
I enjoy watching it with the grandkids.
Very popular.
Havenāt seen it, couldnāt care less
It’s very popular here too!
Itās pretty popular here. I like it. I parent pretty similar to bandit and chilly so it works well for my kids. My 4 year old especially loves itĀ
Iām not very familiar with it, but my six year old niece loves it.
Love it!
Itās not just the most streamed kids show, nor is it just the most streamed program on Disney+. It is the most streamed across all paid platforms. Even most adults who have seen it here enjoy it. Thank you Australia.
I’m 26 without kids and I love it
My dog loves it. I’m happy to sit with the dog and watch it
Freaking amazing.
The only show I enjoy with my grandson
My grandkids love it. I donāt mind it. Honestly, though, I laugh a lot more watching Peppa Pig with them.
I love it, I honestly eat really fast and never able to watch a full episode with the length of my meal, bluey is like the perfect length lol plus it makes me smile
im pretty much the only girl my age who doesnt like it
I’ve never seen it, don’t even know what it is.
Absolutely love it. Canāt remember which episode but I was watching one with my nephew and cried like a baby. It really hits you in the feels.
Itās like one of the first things we put on the tv for peds patients
Yāall nailed it with Bluey. It has a unique quality about it that makes kids love it but also makes it resonate with parents in a very heavy way. Itās often described as a love letter to parents disguised as a kidās show, and that feels pretty accurate. My daughter loves it because itās about dogs and itās colorful. I love it because it has taught me to step back and appreciate the trials and triumphs of parenthood.
My kids absolutely love it. Not gonna lie, I like it too
My adult child made me sit down with them and watch an episode. Itās cute. Iām 54 š
My grandkids love it. We watch it regularly. It’s well written and has good ethics and lessons or role modeling. Only thing I find funny is my grandkids start talking with a Aussie accent. Mumš
Never seen it.
Iād say itās had a considerable influence on us. I see shirts, bumper stickers, and hear phrases from it all the time.Ā
I dont have kids but I see bluey merch all over the place, and when I visit friends with kids its often on the TV
I’ve watched an episode or two. For a kids show it’s pretty entertaining.
I love it. Iām glad my youngest was the right age for it, because itās great.
It’s great. I’ve seen every episode with my kids.
It’s very cute lol
We watched 7 or 8 episodes the other night. Dunno how you could dislike this show if you tried.
Itās the single-best childrenās show Iāve ever seen, and certainly the most hilarious.
My kids played it out for me
The kids like it, but where Bluey shines is with the parents. Y’all made an early childhood show that not only doesn’t make our ears bleed, but is even mildly entertaining to watch.
There should be a trophy for that or sumthin
Every kid I know loves it
Its an awesome show. My son loves it and I prefer it over anything else he wants to watch.
Apparently the American right wing think the show is leftist propaganda and try to create their own version such as Chip Chilla.
It’s amazing
I babysit my grandkids 7,5,5,3 and they all watch it at their homes. Obviously, I end up watching with them. It’s cute and I like the graphics versus the stiff looking Japanese super out of space cartoons.
It’s insanely popular. Bluey is the reason my kid stopped calling me “Mama” and started calling me “mom” and I was mad about it but we didn’t stop watching it. It makes me cry on a regular basis.

Likely to be this new generationās Arthur or Blueās Clues.
We love it.
I got my friends a Bluey vinyl for Christmas as a bit of a wholesome laugh. It was the most envied gift of the bunch! Weāre in our late 20ās for context.
Universal acclaim. I’m 100% serious.
Bluey and Steve Irwin are the two most beloved things to come out of Australia, for Americans, imo
As a parent of a 7yo, we love it!
Yes.
We f’in love it!
It is wildly popular over here. I see merch of it every time I step into a hot topic or a box lunch.
From what I can tell the new generation is being raised on it currently.
Half of all hours streamed on Disney+ are bluey episodes… we like it.
My 4 year old calls things ācheekyā. Lol Yeah Bluey is popular here. I even have a couple Bluey shirts that I wear when I know Iāll be out with him and I get compliments on them all the time when I wear them.
Never heard of it. I remember a Koala named Bill. It was probably decades ago though.
I saw parts of the banned “pregnancy” one and it was absolutely hysterical. I love the show overall for the kids tho.
I was babysitting tonight and I watched it more than the kids.
I work at a big box store and we have an entire Bluey aisle in the toy section
My niece loves it. As for me, not so much.
Blue clue is better
It’s an insanely well written show. I love it, largely because I can relate so well to Bandit.Ā
Iām 56 and donāt have kids.
Iām addicted to Bluey.
I don’t care for Bluey, but I’m very much in the minority.
It’s everywhere. Everywhere.
Bluey seems to be popular with children especially in elementary school.
It is great
If I had kids I wouldn’t make them watch it. It’s lame and devoid of humor. Young adults in 15 years are going to be so boring. Imagine listening to them quote bluey like we quote spongebob. May god have mercy on us all.
Fucking awesome
