My boy only wants mommy now. How do you deal with this heartbreak?
Edited to add: I’m joking, relax. Haha. It’s all good. Just that bed time is much more difficult now if it’s with me.

Sometime mommy needs to rest, for the sake of mommy.
It’s a child, as soon as mom does something that the baby doesn’t like it’ll cling to you again. Emotions are temporary and being a good parent consists of showing a child how to be emotionally stable as well as that despite sometime feeling down or disappointed with someone doesn’t mean the treatment has to change. Ultimately this is where you show kids that emotions are not absolute commands to act a certain way and your situation now is a picture perfect example of showing the child how to deal with that.
Know it’s just a phase. Soon enough, mommy isn’t brave or courageous enough for all his wild adventures outdoors.
Signed,
Mom, who doesn’t get invited to play fights or hikes.
