What do you guys do to chill after work without just scrolling?

Idk man i’ve been getting very tired from work lately and once I’m home I just lay on bed and scroll Tiktok for hours til I pass out, waking up the next day with full regret and my head feels like exploding from the screentime. The thing is I’m really trying to relax but this way I’m just stressing more.

I’m looking for other ways to relax and chill after work that actually help me feel like I’m resting instead of frying my brains away like I try walking in nature sometimes but I pull my phone whenever I have a break or when I arrive home, I jump on couch fast and then it’s game on.

Do you have a normal routine after work you follow that helps you relax?

    I workout the second I get home. It’s tough until it becomes your routine. I work 7-3 so it gives me a burst of energy that lasts til bedtime.

    Go for a walk. Go for a bike ride. Lift weights. Any exercise whatsoever. Read a book. Listen to music.

    Hit the free weights in the morning before work so I come home ready to relax. 

    I focus on hygiene, educational, and employment pursuits in the evening, while making dinner from scratch. 

    Sometimes I’ll listen to lectures or podcasts.
