I want to spend my mornings outdoors (hiking or yardwork), my afternoons on creative projects (writing, game design), and my evenings playing video games or building Lego stuff.
But I have a job to do so I can pay the bills, and I have a family to support and clean up after.
My parents left me some land about a half hour away that I want to turn into a campgrounds; it’s got two gorgeous eight-acre ponds on it and trails and beaver dams. The road needs to be built up a little and a bathhouse needs to be built. I’m about $30,000 shy of what I need, so I’m working my 8-5, bartending on weekends, and Air b&b’ing half my house until I save the money.
Anyways, I wish I was up there building instead of spending my break on Reddit
Sitting in a spacious art studio in a house that I own, instead of sitting in an overcrowded room that’s the only space I can paint in, in a house that I rent.
Getting proper medical care… Insurance just denied all of the dental work I need done so now I have to get teeth pulled that would have been fine with a root canal and filling. They also continuously deny the shots I need to make my knees stop hurting. FML Luigi was a hero and he’ll be a martyr for us all.
