Pretty sure i saw a video, possibly a news report of someone being sentenced in a court room, that somehow smuggled cyanide in with him and took it when he got a poor verdict.
Looked quite painful, but over in a couple of minutes

Have a look in the documentaries on the Jonestown massacre, most died of cyanide poisoning. There is no video (but there is audio and survivor reports), and by all accounts it’s a horrible way to die.
Cyanide interrupts your body’s ability to use oxygen. It’s suffocation down to the cellular level. Organs don’t oxygenate and will die. Picture having a stroke and a heart attack at the same time.
So cyanide blocks the mitochondrial chain, which is a process of successive chemical reaction in order to use oxygen to produce energy for the cells.
So basically, cyanide poisoning is like suffocating while still being able to breathe.
