Man my older brother would whoop my ass all the time growing up. These would be long and brutal fights because I wouldn’t stay down. Theres no reason to be hard on yourself when it’s over and you’ve lost. If you caused the fight for being a prick then it’s only a reason to reflect on “maybe not being a prick next time”.
Anyways, my brother is the only person I ever lost a fight against. There’s few fights I had with other guys growing up that always ended with me walking away a little sore and the other guy coming out purple and partly soaked in their own blood. My brother is now my best friend and we happened to get in a fight about 2 years ago after a night out (he started it) and I ended up finishing it then drove us home. He tried to fight me again as we were walking in the door and I laid his ass out again. I’ve never felt worse in my life seeing what I did to him, but it’s over now and he won’t try that shit again.
No one ever really wins a fight though because you didn’t solve anything. Just both walking away hurt a
I lost a jiujitsu match to a 16 year old (I was 25) in front of my all-time favorite UFC fighter. It’s obviously a different feeling when it’s a sanctioned competition, but the feeling of embarrassment because I lost in front of my friends, family, and the athlete I looked up to most sucked. I felt like Iet everyone down. I think I even apologized to him for watching my match, because that kid tapped me out in about a minute. He told me after not to sweat it, everyone loses and he was right. I’ve never lost a fistfight because I was never in many, but everyone does lose. It happens. You put yourself in harms way enough and things are bound to go in the other persons favor. It’s an insane ego check and it humbles you if you deal with it in a healthy manner.
Depends on the time period. Im 40 years old. When we fought in the 90s and early 00s whether you won or lost you still got your respect because you fought. Only if you were talking shit and got destroyed or didn’t fight at all, did people clown you for it. Real public embarrassment probably did start until World star or social media when people started recording everything.

Feels like you got your ass whipped, sore knuckles, sore ribs, sore face, sore body, you heal, you learn, you move on
Heavy. The weight of your failure makes you feel like the gravity on the planet multiplied.
Feels the exact same as winning. Everything hurts, your face is fucked up for a week, and you realize you didn’t solve a damn thing.

Typically spit out some blood, grab a beer, try to figure out how you got your ass kicked.
The physical beating is the easiest part.
The worse part is the humiliation. That lingers long after the scars heal.
Something you’re always going to remember

I usually deserved it so I accepted that I stepped to the wrong guy took my L and moved on.
Depends on the circumstances and how badly you get beat up.
