What have you cleaned with a pressure washer?

r/

My boyfriend just got a pressure washer, and he’s over the moon. Everything must be pressured washed (within reason).

Have you successfully used a pressure washer to clean anything unique? What was it and how did it perform? I think I can keep him busy until 2027.

Thanks!

Area rugs are a good one. Not like…an antique or whatever but that amazon/target kinda rugs? take it out there, blast the gunk out and let it dry in the sun before it comes back in.

I use my pee to pressure wash poop stains off the inside of the toilet bowl from time to time.

I use a pressure washer and a foam cannon to wash my cars. It’s very satisfying to lather up a vehicle!

edit to add: Never use the high pressure tips when washing a vehicle. I think all I use is the 40 degree white tip.

Recently dug up a stump that the underside looked like Medusa’s head with all these roots going every which way. It would’ve been too heavy to move it with all the dirt attached to the root ball. I pressure washed the dirt off using a 0 degree nozzle and 3000psi. That knocked the dirt off and it was a bare root ball. Two people could pick it up and load it on a side by side bed.

    Don’t let him near

    1. Your roof

    2. Bicycle hubs

    3. The inside of the engine compartment

    4. Your walls if you have older lime mortar

    5. The children – they just need a damp rag

Get him a foam cannon and a good squeegee and have him do the windows.
