I really love hiking, camping, taking care of my yard, skydiving, and traveling. And well let’s say I enjoy other things that are exclusive to being in the bedroom.
Oohh I’ve been waiting for this sort of post to comment on, for the past 5 years me and my friends have gotten together once a fortnight to play pathfinder 1e, curse of the crimson throne module, and I’ll travel as a hobbie and for work
Weight lifting. Been doing it for a good majority of my life now. Definitely look better than most people my age.
Running. Love hate relationship. Hate doing it. Love the results and benefits.
Collecting watches. When Rolex is only mid-tier.
Collecting Blue Jays hats.
What I did do before?
Boxing. Great for keeping in shape, thinking of picking it up again now that my kids are older and I have more time again.
IPSC (competitive shooting). No time and kinda a hassle to practice here.
Gaming. Have a good backlog, but never found the time to sit down and play. It comes and goes. A good game will come and I will play it start to finish, probably platinuming it. Then I won’t touch my PS5 for months.
Collecting wine. Ended up drinking it. And unless you go really high end, diminishing returns hits hard for wine.
Long form YouTube ones. Talking about this like the economy, politics and geopolitical issues. I also like sports related docs, like the Last Dance one Netfilx
I get the most pleasure out of my cars and escpecially cleaning them. Nice day at the weekend, some good music and then taking my time to wash them, vacuum them, treating the leather, all the details… and then sitting with a drink and admiring the beauty of 80s and 90s car design. Besides this: The typical stuff like working out, playing video games and riding motorcycles.
I used to have lots of hobbies but due to a muscle wasting disease I had to retire at 28 (3 years ago) and no longer have to mobility or dexterity to do any of the hobbies I use to enjoy. Instead, I do lots of mental problems to keep my mind active. Sudoku, cross math, puzzles etc…i also read a lot and write and publish online.
