and abortions skyrocket because of people aborting because the probability. Would the pro choice become pro life?
What if in the future it were possible to look at a fetus’s dna and determine a probability of it becoming gay or trans?

easier to look at the parent’s politics
Sex selective abortions were constitutionally protected while Roe v. Wade was the law of the land and I don’t ever recall a pro-choice politician trying to limit them.
The same would probably apply to gender identity selective abortions in Blue states where abortion remains politically popular.
I remember a late 90s movie similar about this. I think the movie is “The Twilight of the Golds” where the child was going to be born gay. I remember Showtime playing this multiple times.
I remember parts of the movie but not all of it unfortunately since every time the movie played I was watching Weird Science on USA Sat nights (the show not the movie).
I’d welcome the idea because then parents and/guardians can plan accordingly. Let the child(ren) grow up their way; force beliefs; indoctrination; have for science purposes? Would definitely weed out those who have kids for the wrong reasons.
That’s kind of a thing already, OP. When things like Down syndrome and other serious disabilities are detected/probable, there is a higher odds of the fetus being aborted.
Don’t assume these traits are primarily determined by gene variants
Most likely a lot of pro lifers would become pro choice.
🤣🤣🤣
The reality is that the current generation has proven that trans and gay is as much about social acceptance and culture and not genetic. There may be some genetic component to it, but as we have seen the rise exponentially over the last several decades in LGBTQ. This is a deeper issue than a genetic component. So DNA checks on a fetus would be useless and tell you nothing.
theres nothing genetic about being gay or trans bro
“greater than, or equal to, zero”
Boom.
Suddenly the pro-life crowd will find exceptions on why it’s okay to abort queer fetuses.
You mean like what Iceland does with a certain genetic disorder?
Ambiguous genitalia of the fetus might be more of a tell tale for the possibility of future gender reassignment. As more an more endocrine disrupting phthalates enter people’s bodies through the ingestion of micro and nanoplastics there will be a global increase in babies born not quite male or female. This trend in births has already started in some places, so welcome to the future, homo(sapien).
That baby going in the dumpster
People would probably do that.
or… have a cancerous gene…? or a debilitating gene…? 🤔
I’m hopeful there’ll be a test in the future to find and weed out possible children with these types of thoughts swirling in their brains.
The southern states in the US might seriously reconsider their stance on terminating a pregnancy
I know enough to tell you that there is definitely fucking certainly a marker for it but we are looking for it in the wrong way.
And I’m probably the only person that is going to be able to figure it out and I’m not going to help you abort homosexuality out of the world even if it’s from the perspective of purpose of every living thing, to reproduce. But we have plenty of broken homes and kids being abused in foster care that why does it matter anyway I don’t remember the part of the Bible that says the sin of homosexuality can’t be forgiven by Jesus. We’re all sinners just because someone abuses children doesn’t make them any worse than a gay person. Right?
Now I need your help. I need everyone to tag newsmax on LinkedIn in a post and tell them I can’t access LinkedIn and I’m in danger and I need Blaine Holt or Tony Shaffer. My name is the signal leak
I’m going to go out on a limb and hazard a guess that homosexual tendencies are not genetic. But I’ll play your game. Wouldn’t the formerly pro choice parents be accepting of their future child’s sexual/identity preference? In this reality, couldn’t you simply edit the gene to make the fetus straight/sex-at-birth-identifying?
