My wife got me into it. She thinks I’m suffering through it for her benefit, when really, I enjoy the historical aspects, the fighting, and, of course, the sex scenes.
Does White Lotus count as female-targeted? I dunno, it’s probably a bit of both, with its multiple parallel storylines. Some storylines are pretty female-centric, others are more male-centric. So, it probably doesn’t count. But it’s the closest I can think of.
“Machos Alfa”, it tries to be a show about masculinity in modern society. It ends up being a show about feminist prejudices about masculinity in a modern society.
I enjoyed Sex and the City and, maybe a little less so, but also its reboot, And Just Like That. There was also a show (on Netflix maybe?) called “Uncoupled”, which is basically SatC but with gay men, starring Neil Patrick Harris. I dunno if that was female-targeted but the wife and I binged that in a couple days.
Does I Dream of Jeannie count? Growing up, my sister watched reruns of that show constantly, and I have to admit, it was pretty funny. Not exactly high-concept art, but I laughed pretty consistently. Larry Hagman was underrated as a comedy actor.

Pretty Little Liars. Gossip Girl. Vampire Diaries. Charmed. That genre is really what my sister liked. Not having my own TV is why i watched those shows. I can follow a story and get into it
GLOW was a banger of a show tbh and idk if Grey’s Anatomy is considered to be for women but that show is decent for long binges. I don’t really tend to watch much tv on my own but when I’ve been with girlfriends those were two shows I never minded or sometimes could enjoy having on
I like decoration shows. When I was younger there was one from BBC called Changing Rooms. Sometimes I like to watch Queer Eye. They help everybody but sometimes it feels more targeted to woman and queer community.
Gilmore Girls. I think the title chases away plenty of men while the humor of the show is pretty universal; I’m glad more and more men start to watch it.
Also: Marvelous Mrs Maisel, Vampire Diaries, Charmed (original Charmed), Veronica Mars, Bridgerton, One Tree Hill, The OC, Desperate Housewives, The Good Wife, and hell, I even enjoyed Pretty Little Liars..
My taste is pretty diverse, but I tend to like those kind of a shows a bit more than the more serious shows that are aimed towards men (Sopranos, Wire, The Shield, Breaking Bad, and so on)
Also, there were a few seasons of Gilmore Girls that are pretty enjoyable. I forget which season is which. But the season where Rory goes off to college and meets the rich blonde douchebag guy was pretty good.
Technically, Buffy The Vampire Slayer was intended to skew toward female audiences. No idea how many women actually ended up watching the show tho. Anyway, the second and third seasons of Buffy are television GOLD.
I really dig Girls. People seem to misunderstand that show (or probably never watched it). Its about shitty young self centered women doing shitty things. See IASIP.

Shameless maybe?

I don’t know if it’s targeted to women, but Hacks has 2 female leads and is wonderful.
Xena: Warrior Princess , also have a soft spot for the original The L Word.
I like watching the bachelor!
usagi drop’s my favorite josei.
Pen15. That was a hilarious show.

I was emotionally invested in One Tree Hill back in the day. 😅
Honestly, some reality dating shows can be pretty entertaining.

That’s awesome, Veronica Mars has such a clever mix of mystery and heart. Your dad had great taste!

Growing up I loved Golden Girls, Friends, and Girlfriends
Good girls, I really enjoyed that show and it was funny and entertaining.

I still love The Golden Girls.
Gilmore Girls.
Bridgerton. I binge watched a bunch of it with my GF. It’s nice, and not just because Luke Thompson (Benedict) is hot AF, I promise :3
Orange is the new black, i LOVED IT, it was great!
Do reality shows count?
My fiancée got me hooked to 90 Day Fiancé, Love is Blind, Love on the Spectrum, Perfect Match, The Ultimatum, etc.
I used to hate them. Now we’re on the couch, eating girl dinners, talking about how Chelsea does not look like Megan Fox.
Gilmore Girls is good casual tv for a relaxing day
Pretty Little Liars. Gossip Girl. Vampire Diaries. Charmed. That genre is really what my sister liked. Not having my own TV is why i watched those shows. I can follow a story and get into it
I really enjoyed Girls and Love back in the day. More recently, Better Things was also fantastic.
Outlander is pretty good
Fleabag & Motherland?
Orange Is the New Black, at least the first few seasons.
Sailor Moon for sure
Gossip girl was pretty iconic I cant lie.
The entire show is a never ending trope of miscommunication, yet somehow the characters are likeable enough to keep you interested.
I don’t know about shows but sometimes I read smut books.
30 Rock and Broad City are two of the greatest sitcoms for me.
GLOW was a banger of a show tbh and idk if Grey’s Anatomy is considered to be for women but that show is decent for long binges. I don’t really tend to watch much tv on my own but when I’ve been with girlfriends those were two shows I never minded or sometimes could enjoy having on
Does iZombie count?
I watched Desperate Housewives with my mom when I was younger, now there’s a comforting nostalgia for me with that show.
I’m going the anime route with The Apothecary Diaries.
I like decoration shows. When I was younger there was one from BBC called Changing Rooms. Sometimes I like to watch Queer Eye. They help everybody but sometimes it feels more targeted to woman and queer community.
Dickinson.
Reba, Gilmore Girls, Army Wives, Desperate Housewives
Killing Eve.
Grey’s anatomy (and its associated spin offs), Gilmore girls, hart of dixie, charmed.
I wna add K-on, but I don’t think that counts. It doesn’t seem to have a specific “women targeting” vibe, but my sister says it’s girly 🤷
Do generic soaps count? Coz then I’ll add Neighbours.
House hunters
Pen15
Lioness
I liked Samantha Who in it’s short run
Cardcaptor Sakura
I enjoyed Everything I know About Love
Dead to Me
I’m not sure if it’s female targeted but Normal People on Hulu was excellent! It somehow resonates with me and I’ve watched it multiple times
Golden Girls and Sex and the City lol
Girls, easily one of the best shows on modern life and dating and friendships.
Fleabag. It’s an excellent show, and it’s very good in terms of writing and comedy. But it has it’s heartbreaking moments which hit pretty hard.
Pretty much any dating reality show. Bachelor(ette), Love Is Blind, etc.
Broad City had me sneaking around the house like a gremlin watching it on low volume.
Gilmore Girls. I think the title chases away plenty of men while the humor of the show is pretty universal; I’m glad more and more men start to watch it.

Sex and the city
Keeping up with the kardashians, love and hip hop or pretty much any reality tv show is so good and I encourage all my brothers to give it a shot
Working Moms was a fun show to watch
I loved Fleabag
Outlander, Bad Sisters
I really liked the first 15 minutes of a handmaiden’s tale. After that it got boring and preachy real quick.
Veronica Mars, oddly enough.
MOM

I liked The Barbie movie.
Sex in the City 🤷🏾♂️
MAFS
Emily in Paris
Greys anatomy
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
New Girl.
While I don’t think it’s necessarily targeted towards women, I think many do think it is and thus I’ve never met another man who has watched the show.
Probably, Heartland. It’s a good casual background show.
Absolutely Fabulous.
Agatha All Along
Ouran Host Club is an absolute banger anime.
Charmed.
I liked ‘Girls’ in a guilty pleasure way.
I got into it because I thought Allison Williams is hot, and stayed because it was just a trainwreck of a show.
Does the Good Wife and The Gilded Age count?
I really dig Girls. People seem to misunderstand that show (or probably never watched it). Its about shitty young self centered women doing shitty things. See IASIP.
Downton Abbey
Fleabag, the Barbie movie, Handmaids Tale, Parks & Rec, Big Little Lies, Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Backdoor sluts 9….I’m sorry, I just left r/arad
I did like “Girlfriends” though..
