What is a piece of gear that some consider a “must have” but you consider useless

A lot of people seem to be really gear obsessed when it comes to LE, spending lots of their own money on personal items for themselves.

What is a piece of gear, equipment, or comfort item others buy that you find silly or useless. Also interested if there’s any issued gear from your department you find useless as well.
