I think over time I learned to embrace the challenge. I framed working hard to make things better as me being a hero in my own story. I told myself that , if I am willing to play video games and pretend to take down empires or save the world, why can’t I do the easier thing of trying to increase my income IRL.

I also like rebelling against the universe. There is something profound to us humans existing on this unique planet reversing entropy. And that made me want to keep on living.

There’s a lot of people I hate and am sure hate me back. They’d be happy if I failed or offed myself.

Fuck them, I’m going to succeed just to spite them. Then maybe they’ll off themselves out of shame.

For me, finding things to progress at and trusting that the results would follow was a great way to occupy that time. The best time to reflect on adversity isn’t always immediately. If you’re not of sound mind, you need to fix that first and get to a good place to observe it from.

Don’t need purpose. I will continue pushing my boulder even if it ends up at the bottom of the mountain every time. I have things I want to do. Stories I want to tell. But the goal is pushing the boulder. If something comes of it thats great. If nothing does then I’m not going to stop pushing
