Being outside and getting followed/cat-called/honked at. It’s terrifying! It’s not daily, but I’d say once a week. Some man slows down his car to try to get me to jump in, some nasty sexual advances, sometimes it’s just honking to scare me. It’s so fucking unnecessary and isn’t going to get you any women.
i think every woman will agree: i’m so tired of doing all the housework every single day
Paycheque. If I was a man I would work in construction and be laughing.

When I do my hair cute then want to ride in the car with the windows down and it gets all matted and I have to brush it for a half hour
going through menopause
My husband remembering zip zero and being absolutely okay with it and/or being able to mask about it which – lawd have mercy if I could so casually carry about forgetting all of our needs and then not having a level 5 meltdown about it. But, seriously the level of comfort of never having to be holding information is WILD.
But, also how easily it is for him to just … whatever.
Like we get home and he does a task like put away groceries or whatever half way usually and then can casually enter his relaxing mode whereas again I am leveling up as the othering breathing things in the home swallow me up in asks and needs and the floor is somehow ALWAYS a mess. 😂
Oh my god don’t get me started on this everything basically.
Right from going out, having to get home early, be careful of where I am going, who I am going with, leaving drinks unattended, taking an uber late night,
Being treated unfairly at work even if working equally like the men, having to be considerate everywhere not voice my opinion. God the list is endless
Jobs! Yeah, a woman can do a lot of things men can but people (at least where I live) are less willing to train me how to do blue collar jobs without a degree in the field.
Job seeking, applying for PhD. Being an adult. Everything. (I’m in mainland of China. ;-))
Getting ready in the morning. My boyfriend rolls out of bed 15 minutes before leaving throws on clothes and looks perfectly acceptable. Meanwhile I’m up an hour early doing hair makeup and coordinating an outfit that society deems professional enough.
Being interrupted and/or doubted every time I speak. Every time.
The pink tax: everyday stuff that women need or are made for women are absurdly priced high compared to similar products for men. Women’s razor is more expensive than men’s razor, women’s underwear are pricier than men’s briefs, menstrual products and birth control pills are absurdly expensive compared to say male condom, and the list goes on.
They pay us a fraction of what they would pay a man for doing the same job, but they are still out there to get more of our money. It’s a very pricey thing to be a woman.
Walking to work, going for a run at odd hours, repairing my car, lifting heavy objects, and maybe not on the daily, but in my country getting a better bank loan (as a woman I got about a half less than a man in my position)
Top everything with the ever present and never predictable influence of hormones. My life would be SO MUCH EASIER if I were born male
PCOS lmao. It whoops my ass every day. Morning sickness for no reason (I’ve checked, not pregnant-it’s been like this since puberty), acne, daily cramps, 4 ruptures so far, hellish periods-sometimes multiple times a month, bloating- again for no reason, and then there’s some stuff that lines up with being a dude such as facial hair and balding- but JFC IT ALL SUCKS.
Being heard.
Fuck me, it’s excruciating how easy it is for men to be taken seriously when voicing an opinion. They could be talking out of their ass while I’m giving an opinion based on YEARS of relevant experience. They are in the default position of being “probably right” and it’s then up to me to prove them wrong, without being shrill, dramatic, hysterical or obnoxious of course!
Empty train.
getting harassed by men, im 17 and i had a man tell me he wanted to take me home with him, my doctor old enough to be my grandfather kissed me on the cheek, and my professor would constantly make inappropriate comments towards me
