When you don’t want to communicate expecting everyone to coddle you and reach out to you because you don’t want to communicate through issues, I know a lot of my peers that do this it’s very frustrating
If someone has a bad day she/he reflects it on others. once i risked a job telling my boss if he has a bad day then don’t talk to me unless he has something job related to tell me.
excessive swearing. major turnoff. my dad told me when i was younger than people use cuss words in place of other words because they are not intelligent enough to come up with a better word. that stuck with me and when i hear excessive swearing i think “total, ignorant and stupid trash”
When someone’s partner cheats on them and instead of getting mad at their partner that cheated on them they get mad at the person that they cheated on them with even though that person seems to most of the time be completely innocent in the matter and also equally surprised by the cheating
When a grown ass man gets drunk and starts worrying about other people respecting him. And by that, I mean cursing, threatening and beating anyone, who doesn’t bow to them. Respect is something you earn, not something you beat out of people
Getting police officers the middle finger. I got a lot of comments from people on Instagram when I commented on a video about a guy doing said action on a dare.
Being from Massachusetts, nine times out ten cops don’t bother with anyone flipping them off because the person wasn’t committing any other crime. I have family members who are police officers, and they confirmed this. Even if that one police officer gets offended by the finger, they can only bust you if you’re committing another crime and most of the time it’s disorderly conduct, which are mostly misdemeanors.
aspiring towards homogeny/ being insular. a lot of people just want to beat capitalism and recline to suburbia, and thus forget that they’re human & that connection to the world is necessary
Supposedly adult individuals that are addicted to playing children’s video games. Bringing it to their attention makes them angry and they sulk, pout and scream.
Demanding forgiveness. That just screams selfishness, irresponsibility and craven abusiveness to me. That’s the kind of person who’ll do something horrible to you and then try to blame you for feeling angry or sad about it.
Excessive swearing. If you can’t have a simple conversation without a ton of cussing, I just tune out. Not saying never swear, but it can just be really annoying. My husband games online with someone who is about 25 years younger than we are and the mouth on him…he can’t complete a sentence without a LOT of swearing…I genuinely think that he does it to sound MORE mature but it’s just really annoying and comes off as trying too hard.
Bitching about everything. Life isn’t how you thought it should be, if you have twenty years under your belt, you should have internalized this already and realized bitching and moaning about it makes it even worse.
Constantly gossiping about everybody. As soon as someone enters their line of sight they seem to have a story about everyone. I immediately felt nothing but regret about the things I confided in that person once I recognized the pattern.
When you’re speaking to someone irl and they feel the need to verbally respond with some random exclamation every time you pause for breath or dramatic effect. Or when they do the same random exclamation thing as their entire response to what you just said.
“I couldn’t believe she just cut me off like she didn’t even see me!”
“LITERALLY!”
Or
“I feel bad that we didn’t wait, but they’re always late to everything”
“Hell-OH!”
Just makes me feel like there’s an annoying child attempting to jump into an adult conversation. Or like, an overzealous emcee.
To quote Jim Jeffries, “If you take more than 3 selfies a week, fucking end it. The idea that you think taking a photo of yourself, that there’s not something mentally wrong with that…that’s bad. But the fact that when you take that photo, your next thought is, ‘other people might want to see this.’ You’re the fucking worst.”
Grown men who wear sports jerseys with another man’s name on their back. It’s cool for women to dress that way, and of course all kids should dress like that, but grown men?
Older men (35+) who go after 18-21 years old but say it’s “legal” and the girl is an “adult” so it’s okay. It’s still gross and perverted despite the law saying you can do it without facing charges.
People on social media reposting how someone wished them and Ive seen few post where the original poster reposted the story on how the person posted their story saying thank you and they replied welcome by reposting the same post..Wtf is going on?
I left Insta and Fb due to this shit
When you ask a polite question like can I have a glass of water, or can I use the bathroom at someone’s place for the first time and they respond sarcastically. I will never understand that but other people seem to think it’s funny
Getting sloppy drunk. Getting and maintaining a buzz is 1 thing, but getting destroyed everytime you drink bc you cant help yourself is extremely childish IMO. Same thing goes for pot heads that get too stoned to function on a regular basis.
No respect for social situations and their behaviour. Overly familiar. Lack of manners. Dismissal of the achievements of others or importance of skills/capabilities.

Grown ass men using nicknames as their regular name like Jimmy or Bobby. You’re not 8. Be Jim or Bob.
The word cringe
Women going up into the high frequency register when seeing an animal or baby. It makes my ears hurt and my anger boil.
Adults that are really into Disney are strange in my opinion. I don’t understand the obsession with things primarily meant for children.
Also, people that always say ‘hubby’ or ‘doggo’….so fucking dumb.

The calling people old when they are 25 and up.
Politics. The shit politicians say and do, would never fly in a corporate environment.
