    Struggles:

    1. Political struggle: not having a competent president or candidates to choose from, polarized ideologies that only want to deceive and divide the country instead of looking to resolve common issues together (Pacto historico vs Centro democrático).
    2. Economic struggle: Every day, less people are getting stable jobs and everything is getting more expensive, there’s an increase of informal jobs in the country.
    3. Security and safety struggle: The great peace that was promised between the government and the Narcos/Paramilitaries in the country (FARC, ELN etc..) didn’t work, there’s an increase of internal conflict specially in rural areas.
    4. Health struggle: Our universal health care system is struggling to cover the costs of treatments and medication needed for millions of people around the country, this is because the government found these hospitals are corrupt and they are not giving proper treatment or coverage to our citizens, now, the government is reluctant to pay them. As a result, many doctors are now not getting paid or being able to assist the patients.

    Hopes:
    None 😀

I’m praying arteriosclerosis eventually works, and I’ll wake up to the headline most of us are waiting for.

    Stupidity.

In Brazil, people elected the most corrupt person in the country (perhaps in the world) to the presidency.

Can you say that these people aren’t stupid?

Struggle: Elites (large landowners, the military, hereditary billionaire “entrepreneurs” and faith merchants) blocking all and any efforts to fix the loopholes and schemes that keep my country underdeveloped, disconnected and uneducated, and money flowing from the poor to their pockets (and abroad).

Hope: Very small, but ¡viva la revolución!
