    I’m a human vacuum cleaner 😉 but seriously it’s effort. Neither one of us is perfect but as long as effort is being made no matter if it’s it’s in the bedroom, cooking, romance, cleaning etc. If effort is put into it then things will work out.

    Because we treat each other like whole people. I don’t say anything to him I wouldn’t say to a lifelong friend and vice versa. A lot of folks seem to take the idea of being in a relationship as permission to be awfully fucking mean and contemptuous.

    There is a flip side to that obviously which is have absolutely ZERO tolerance for people who treat you meanly or contemptuously. Completely non-genendered advice, people who treat you with contempt won’t get better, and people who inspire your contempt don’t make good partners.
