This used to be a good sub for guys to talk to guys about guy stuff. Now its flooded with posts tagged “female” by teenagers seeking validation, dating advice, or rage bait man-hating. WTF??? I want the old sub back. Seems like a concerted effort to blow this place up.
What is with the influx of bs posts lately

I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.
Trolls gonna toxic. I love it here. I don’t give those types the energy. They just want to feed off negativity that they provoke. Don’t give them what they want.
They’ll eat themselves.
Lol name checks out. Eh hopefully it is a passing issue. Hang in there bud.
It’s summer and the internet just being the internet.
To add to this, there is now a “teenager” flair that we can apply, but we can’t make users apply their own flair.
Please just continue to report questionable posts and comments. We can’t consistently comb every thread, but we can see every report and try to take action as quickly as possible.
It used to be much worse.
Also why the fuck cant I see comments? Looks like there are 3. Got 3 truncated notifications of replies, but nothing showing up in the thread. Can’t reply to the comments either from my inbox.
I’ve noticed this too, and it’s not just here, it’s everywhere.
Now 7 comments and not one showing up.
Does seem to be getting worse. Apologies to the mods, I know they handle a lot of nonsense, so I don’t want to come off critical of them.
I’ve recently been thinking we should add age flairs and let people ask for answers from specific age groups.
Then the teenagers can echo chamber each other’s nonsense as much as they like while we retain a format for people that want answers based on life experience.
I am sick of hearing about one social media trend after another, though. I don’t care what women on Tik Tok are saying about men.
But why should this sub be any different than the rest of them?
Clearly I should apologize to those who create fake posts.
Come on, you know full well us blokes aren’t allowed to have a space for ourselves.
Bots making bs posts to gain info on how we answer things. Some of these questions are so stupid, i’m like their is no way a fullyfunctional human is asking this. The ai takeover is here soon these threads will be filled with bots throwing slurs at each other.
We can never have a place of our own lol
You’ve just described the entirety of Reddit for all its existence. I’m not sure what you mean
Seen some other subreddit that they have a “flair” under your name. So i know when i look at a post i see its someone in its 30’s or a teen for example.
It’s mating season. Well, that’s my headcannon for why people are asking for dating advice or related topics.
Well, duh
Women, especially teenagers, like validation, and this is a pretty popular sub on the whole of Reddit.
Also name checks out
So many posts are written by AI today and it gets harder to spot.
Social media depends on engagement and the longer you are gleud to the screen, the more profit they make. With genuine questions you don´t get as much as with rage bait, so some ai generated rage bait gets sprinkled into the mix.
In a similar subreddit there is a woman asking every two days about a condom she found in his BFs house 🤦. And fellow redditor (who apparently has never used a condom in his life), was assuring her the condom was used (it wasn’t).
It is not that bad here in AskMen. Much of such threads are quickly closed.
Yay! comments are visible again.
OP, have you seen the influx of posts by sad sack males seeking confirmation by blaming their troubles on women? It’s a regular thing here now.
Wouldn’t it make sense that women have questions about men, not being men and all?
Where are you seeing man-hating on the sub?
It’s been like this forever
Yeah, it seems like this sub is kinda disintegrating into women coming on here asking completely braindead or really obvious questions. “How do men feel about morning blowjobs?” Duh, what do you think? We hate them. “Why are men insecure about X that women judge them on” etc. Low IQ garbage.
You could, you know, not rise to the bait.
Downvote and don’t comment.
