About 15-20 years ago I moved to Canada and ate at Boston Pizza after my first day of moving in. They offered the Prairie Harvest pizza that had a white sauce, carmelized onions, walnuts, dried cranberries, and grilled chicken. It was only there for a few months then it was gone forever. It’s chain pizza. It’s good but not winning any awards. Ive eaten pizza all over the US at many objectively better pizza places. But the prairie harvest from BP was special and is my favorite.
Meijer grocery store’s “fancy” store brand (Frederick’s by Meijer) makes a gorgonzola pear pizza that is amazing. I don’t know if it’s my favorite but it’s in the top few and unique.
I’m going to get downvoted but I don’t care, I genuinely enjoy pineapple on pizza I like sweet and savory and it tastes good. I hate pineapple otherwise but it’s good on pizza.
I get some hate about this, but one of my absolute favorite Pizzas is the Meatlovers thin crust from Pizza Hut. Just something about it that hits the spot.
But there is a local pizza place where I get Anchovie, roasted Garlic, and Artichoke hearts. 15/10.
