I was a particularly voracious reader growing up and would have books with me just about everywhere I went. It’s a wonder I never got hit by a car because I used to read while out walking as well.
Now I really enjoy reading while walking on a treadmill in the gym, lol.
Otherwise, in bed, on a couch, with a coffee in the sun, anywhere really.
i usually read in bed or at the gym on the treadmill! now that the weather is nicer im hoping to sit at the park and read and enjoy some sunlight as well
Currently at my work we have a reading hour every week. Every student and teacher has to read at this time, even if you are just in the building and not teaching. It sounds silly, but it’s the only time I can read a book without feeling guilty and feeling I have to do more important stuff.
Tomorrow the reading hour is before I start my work, but I will go in early to hopefully finish my book.
A cozy corner of a quiet café, headphones in, lo-fi music playing, and a warm drink beside me. There’s something about being around people but not needing to interact that makes it feel comforting.
But honestly? The bed wins on lazy days.
