What is your “I’m too old for this now” moment?

r/

As we’ve all got older and have more important priorities in life. What is a something that you feel like you’re too old for?

For me it’s other peoples opinions of me, especially from customers working in a retail job. Like I don’t care what I look like or say, I’m just trying to make enough money to survive

Being really hungover. It hurts a lot worse as you get older.

Saying no to drinks at a work outing.

I love partying with everyone, but I have stuff to do and I don’t want a hangover

Understanding the current slang. I was called a “bop” a couple weeks ago after making a joke on here and I thought it was a good thing.

Going to rock concerts in football stadiums. I’m far too old for that shit.

Most bars/clubs after 11 PM. Not that I can’t party until 4 AM if called upon, but I certainly don’t want to do it when I’m 10+ years older than everyone else there

Helping friends move to a 2nd or 3nd floor building / apartment . When you are almost 40 and have sciatica it makes you rethink about helping friends move .
