I use a shampoo bar to wash my hair body and face. Sometimes I use a cera ve gentle cleanser/exfoliator on face, neck, upper chest, pits, and pubic area (i wax so this helps avoid in grown hairs). I start with warm water and end with 1-3 mins of FrEeEeZiNg cold water. Moisturize everything and then put on a bit of leave in conditioner.
I try to do everything in 10 min or less except on Sundays when I have more time lol
shampoo twice, put in conditioner and exfoliate my body, shave if i plan to, wash off conditioner, body wash, wash my face, exfoliate my face twice a week, put my hair products in and plop, body lotion, and if ive shaved i put a bit of vaseline on top of my lotion
I give myself about 30 min to between getting up and getting out of my house in the morning to make it to work on time. Most of that is my shower. I leave my lunch bag ready the night before. I gently close ready the night before. Me showering is the most time consuming things I do. I turn on the water run downstairs and put the frozen bag of food into the crock pot and turn it on on low. Go back to the bathroom go into the shower wash my hair and then condition it. I then wash my face and my half part of my body. Then I brush my hair, wash the rest of the conditioner out add my in shower gel in to my hair and wrap it in my small towel meant to dry my hair faster. Then I wash the rest of my body. Get out dry myself and put clothes on. Once that is done I put my hair down and put my coconut oil with essential oils in it and let it finish air drying. I put my shoes on. Grab my lunch bag with everything in it and run out the door.
Double shampoo, put conditioner in and let it soak because curly hair problems. While it’s sitting, I think about my life, have a cry, sit there for 45 minutes planning world domination. Brush out my hair. Wash out my conditioner. Exfoliate & body wash. Rinse body. Put hair products in. Squeegee shower door and then plop hair. Stand outside of the shower for another 15 minutes planning world domination while staring into the abyss.
While I wait for my hair to get soaked, I use the body soap to get into the important bits (ears, armpits, belly button, etc.) to deep clean.
Once my hair is wet enough, I go in with the first shampoo (treats dry scalp) and while that soaks in, I scrub my body with loofah and then use a back brush to scrub my entire backside (I have found that this completely eliminated bacne & upper thigh acne).
Then I rinse all the shampoo and soap off and go in with the 2nd shampoo (use it mostly for scent). While that soaks, I do maintenance shaving (armpits).
I rinse again. Then I do conditioner and while that soaks, I will either do a body scrub if I feel like I need it or shave my legs. And then rinse again.
I tend to disassociate under the molten hot water for about 10 minutes, then done whatever standard shower stuff feels necessary that day, then disassociate some more while I rinse.
Hop in and get wet, then shampoo my hair. After rinsing out the shampoo I put in the conditioner. While the conditioner soaks in I use body-wash and shave my legs and underarms if I need to. Then I rinse out the conditioner, dry off, and put on lotion.
Lather hair with shampoo, rinse and repeat. Then conditioner, typically on the ends only, and let it sit for a few minutes. While conditioner is sitting, I exfoliate face and body (only exfoliate 3x a week; I shower daily). Rinse out conditioner and lather face with face wash and body with body wash. Use bar soap for cleaning in intimate areas. If I need to shave I will do that last.
Shampoo w scalp massager, I like using eva nyc. Body wash with rubber loofah, Pumice stone for feet, then shave, right now I’m using a big bottle of Dr bronners castile soap. Conditioner w scalp massager again, finish with washing face w whatever cleanser I have on hand
In the shower: Shampoo 2x- rinse – conditioner – soap bar without any sent – rinse – body scrub – rinse – shave – body wash – rinse- face wash – rinse off fully again including hair ( every 2 showers I use a hair gloss)
After: glyacolic acid spray on my legs arm, and armpits – deodorant – baby oil / coconut oil – body lotion – foot cream – dusting powder – leave in conditioner – dry my hair -hair serum – skincare
Set the temp to hell, hop in with my phone and put some music on/scroll. I usually do that for a solid 5-7 minutes. Put it in the cup I use to rinse my toddlers hair (amplifies the sound). I start with shampoo, making sure it’s gathered up real good and I let it set for a few minutes while choose a better playlist bc the first one usually doesn’t hit right.
After that, I condition and use a wide tooth comb to detailed. Put my hair up, lather and wash, shave if needed. I then turn the water to a luke warm temp and rinse my hair and body at the same time. The cooler temp is supposed to help retain moisture and shine for my hair, and helps blood pressure, or at least thats what I’m told.
Daily CAPTain shower (CAPT=Crotch/Ass/Pits/Teeth) and maybe 1× a week depending on weather/work I do all the scrubbing/shampoo/conditioner/skin treatment/shave etc. I HATE getting my hair wet in Winter when it’s cold. Summers the CAPT shower becomes a cool-down shower to get my hair wet and wash the stink off.
Face wash on and leave to sit. Hibiscub in the sweaty parts and anywhere I would have body acne, then intimate areas with a ph wash (I know I know but it works for me), then exfoliating gloves on and niacimide wash on whole body, rinse face with a rubber mit. Rinse off body, squeegee shower off and done
Get my hair wet, wash it with shampoo twice, apply conditioner and let it sit for a few minutes while I sit in the shower and wash my feet, wash out conditioner, wash body, wash face, step out
Turn out the lights. Turn on Christmas lights or use speaker lights. Get the speaker and playlist or audiobook set up. Grab a rag.
Turn on water. Get undressed. Enter shower. We hair thoroughly. Try not to use too much shampoo but end up feeling like I’m using too much shampoo for my short hair.
Conditioner? Next time, totally. Actually the weekend is coming up and I just won’t wash my hair for two or three days.
Bar of soap for the face. Face scrub once a week, if that.
Salt scrub once a week, if that.
Body wash on the body with the rag. scrub brush for back.
Rinse. Turn off water. Remove self from shower. One towel for hair and one more for the body. Finish with body lotion then bed, typically
– Once I’m out of the shower, apply Olaplex leave-in conditioner and L’Oréal hair oil
– Apply TO glycolic acid to wherever I shaved and do a Korean skincare routine for my face
– Anti perspirant or deodorant
– Bum Bum cream all over my body, and a sprinkle of my signature perfume
If I have time left, I’ll style my hair and give myself a manicure as well. I like to do these everything showers once a week. The entire thing takes about an hour.
My regular, everyday-
Hair in claw clip
Bar soap wash body first
Shave if I need to
Wash face
Then use my smell good body wash/oil. In & out under 10 minutes
For my once/twice a week hair wash shower-
First shampoo
Wash body with bar soap
Rinse and second shampoo
Shave if I need to/exfoliate
Rinse shampoo and put in conditioner
Wash face while conditioner sits
Brush conditioner thru hair and rinse
Adds about 5-10 mins to my everyday time
My everyday is using dove soap bar to wash my body, and shave my armpits and legs (with said dove soap). I use cerave for my face.
On Tuesdays and Fridays I wash my hair. I double wash with shampoo mixed with water so I can more easily apply it to only my scalp. Then I put conditioner on the bottom half of my hair. I double wash this first before anything else so it can soak in while I wash and shave the rest of my body.
I play music while I shower because it’s kinda chore to me. So listening to music helps!
Brush & floss teeth first, usually at the bathroom sink but sometimes in the shower. Clean my glasses. Sometimes put contacts in. Brush hair.
Then get into the shower. Lightly wash face with my hands. Scrub under fingernails using a little brush. Shampoo, then rinse. (Sometimes repeat.) Apply conditioner to the ends of my hair, then clip hair up. Wash body with a silicone scrubber, then rinse. Take hair down, brush conditioner through, and rinse, trying not to get conditioner on my skin. Lightly wash face again, either with my hands or a clean washcloth.
Jump in, wet hair, shampoo with detox shampoo. Rinse. Shampoo with purple shampoo. While that sinks in I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub on my pits to get off deodorant and use a face scrub if I’ve worn makeup that day. Rinse pits and face. Rinse purple shampoo. Condition ends of hair. Rinse. Put hair up because it’s a sensory nightmare to finish my shower with long, wet hair touching me. PanOxyl face wash, let it sit while I use a silicone body scrubber with body wash on the rest of my body. Rinse. Leave in conditioner spray in hair/brush with wet brush. Put up in towel. Body lotion if I feel like it but usually my body wash is enough.

Step 1: Stand in the hot shower and waste water for a few minutes while I disassociate from life and stare off into space
Step 2: soak hair thoroughly (it’s curly, it takes a min)
Step 3: apply shampoo, give scalp good scrub. Rinse it out
Step 4: apply conditioner. Let it sit in my hair while I wash my face with a moisturizing cleanser
Step 5: rinse conditioner out. Wash whole body with soap. Rinse soap off. Depending on the day, I also shave my armpits at this time.
Step 6: brush teeth (yes in the shower, while I return to zoning out)
Step 7: exit shower. Collect all the hairs I splattered on the shower wall and discard them. Dry off and proceed with curly hair styling routine.

I mean, my quick everyday shower is just get in, soap up, get out. But my everything shower is:
– Light candles, turn on karaoke pop music playlist, sprinkle eucalyptus oil in the shower
– Dry brush skin, brush teeth (and start singing along to the karaoke playlist)
– Soap up and shave, usually with classic soap from Marseilles + a Rituals shower foam
– Lador Vinegar Shampoo, towel dry hair + K18 hair mask

– Apply TO glycolic acid to wherever I shaved and do a Korean skincare routine for my face

If wearing make up, I would use an oil based cleanser before getting in

Condition and leave
Wash body
Wash face
Rinse conditioner and clip up hair
Wash body again
If shaving, I would use an exfoliating scrub here
Shave if it’s an everything shower
