What just happened? A simple case of sleep paralysis?

r/

I just had an experience that I found similar to sleep paralysis, but I had my eyes closed. I heard nothing, but saw flashing numbers, “6291” in my mind, and had the sensation that someone was yelling at me to write down “1973” and those numbers over and over, like I was yelling at myself outside of my body, like a separate person. Every time I didn’t write this down, I got massive chills on the left side of my neck and some muscle tension. This only lasted for a few minutes. I snapped out of it and felt uneasy until I finally wrote the numbers down. Is this normal sleep paralysis?

This happened while you were awake with your eyes closed? Or you were just falling asleep?

No, I don’t think so. I have a history of nightmares, sleep paralysis and night terrors. With sleep paralysis I’m awake but can’t move. This sounds like a nightmare. Just curious, did you do any drugs that day. Some I’ve taken have had an effect on my sleep. Chantix gave me the night terrors.

If the person yelling at you sounded like your voice, I would assume that it was yourself yelling at you from the future. But I have no idea why. And yes I believe in Supernatural phenomena. If you don’t believe in that kind of stuff then discard what I said. But from the description you gave it definitely sounds like some sort of a supernatural phenomena.
