Maybe it’s a stupid question but, as a girl, I’m curious to know. I’m not talking about haircuts, but about hairstyles (how sb wears their hair) and specifically kinda long hair.
Do you prefer it when a woman let’s her hair down or when she ties it? Do you think it affects her appearance much? What do you find more attractive?

This is going to be a really plain answer which everybody kinda expects. But I really don’t mind what hairstyle someone has, as long as they are happy, or at least tried (maybe it failed or is a bad hair day) then I’m good, no preference.
Long hair.
One that suits them
Love long wavy hair.
Up or down is good
Letting it down is generally more desirable. Personally I like shoulder length hair.
I don’t really care, just don’t make it look too strict. I know for some activities there is no alternative, because you can’t let your hair get caught in stuff.
Not buzz cut or shorter.
I like longer, simpler haircuts. And bangs. Up and down are both nice.
The hairstyle where the woman feels confident and good about themselves for whatever activities they are attempting to do.
Here is my humble opinion and only opinion, based on observation and doing activities with long-haired women. Long hair flowing freely while attempting a Spartan obstacle course? Probably not a great idea. Same long hair in a pony-tail tackling the course, hell yes. Long curly hair for a picnic on a nice, calm, sunny day? Perfect. Long curly hair on a boat in high winds and horizontal rain? Not ideal.
BTW, none of these are about how I feel about the style; they are all just practical about how comfortable the woman would be and how much their hair would interrupt the enjoyment of the activities they are trying to participate in.
I don’t like very short hair but otherwise it differs for every woman. Different face shapes fit different styles etc.
Long, straight, clean and shiny
Every style has its appeal but I am a sucker for long hair, specially curly! I come from a culture where woman have long black hair so that probably has something to do with it. Pony tails are also hot so it comes down to the personal style of the person.
I don’t think guys have a preference. As long as it suits your face and look. I’ve been attracted to women with long hair and even a buzz cut.

I mostly like down and long on one side looking over her shoulder. On an occasion a high ponytail can be really hot when we’re doing some house work. Maybe it’s the neck, ears and soft jaw line I enjoy.

Relatively long (maybe down to her mid-back), generally left down and not up in a ponytail or bun. I generally am not a huge fan of crazy hair colors, or Mohawk or half shaved look.
Straight vs wavy, and standard hair color is going to depend on the woman.
Hair style can affect how attracted I am to her but not to an extreme

Down or tied both have an attractive look! All my life longer hair gets my attention (bonus if it’s curly) but I’ve seen some women with short cuts that really make it work too. Obviously getting to know someone, hairstyles aren’t real important. All that said….doesn’t matter what I’ve written. Every person has their own preferences but at the end of the day all that really matters is what YOU like. Just be you :))
I always prefer long hair to hang down with a ‘natural’ look (you know, well groomed but low key styling). It looks very sexy, playful and approachable at the same time.
That being said I respect the choice some women make by tying up their hair. This perhaps makes them look more assertive and tough and less approachable – but still sexy, just in a different way. (The same goes for short hair, but short hair suits some women better than others depending on their facial features to be perfectly honest)
I hate bangs. Hate them. Don’t know why, I just do.
Other than that, it depends on the shape of your face and head. Some women look great with long hair and some look like they’re peaking thru a curtain.
Short hair can be great, too! Some women look sleek and sexy and some look like an elf.
Dudes are the same so no sexism here.
Just know what works best for you and despite my opinion of bangs, if you like them and people compliment you on them, then they look good. TIP: It’s a good sign if you like your hairstyle and you get compliments on it, too. 😉
Long, Short, Gray, Color – I don’t have hair so can’t complain. If this matters – find another man. My wife changed through the years…… BUT not blue – HA!
I’ve always had a thing for hairstyles that give a shorter hair “look”. Usually more tied up stuff. That said, I have a thing for short hair on gals, so that’s probably not too surprising.
Long, halfway down her back, worn down. Well kept. Hygiene matters too.
Completely depends on the woman and her vibe. Many styles and colors can be attractive.
That’s like asking what food I find tasty.
Though, I have a special love for women with short, tussled bed-hair (tomboy type) and long hair with a high ponytail.
Styles I’m not a fan of are those weird ‘feminist’ fringes and hair that’s artificially straightened to the point that it looks burnt.

I like long hair, and the style doesn’t matter that much. Straight, tied up, braids, all good.

As long as her hairstyle fits her face, I’ll like it.
It really depends on the texture of the hair (I have natural curls myself) and the style of the individual person.
Up-dos tend to be more formal or professional, whereas hair-down tends to be more spontaneous and wild. If the individual mannerisms don’t match, I’m gonna pick up on it. Same with half-up-half-down, it just depends on the person and the situation
