Basically just dont let your emotions cloud your judgment, I just got out of a situationship (she ended it but I didnt hate that she did) i was lile super duper into her, and when she cut it off I felt so fucking awful, but I sat and thought and really felt that my emotions had clouded my judgment and in hindsiggt im kinda glad its over just because there were some things I had ignored because I was so into her that looking back there are things I wouldent want in a relationship.

I didn’t learn this from the movie because I already knew it, but this scene immediately stood out when I read your post….
Inside Out – Bing Bong was feeling down and Joy’s way of trying to help was by dancing around him and joking about to almost try and distract him from his feelings….but then Sadness came along and actually talked to him about his feelings, listened carefully to what he was saying and quietly felt those feelings with him.
It showed the importance of empathy, acknowledging that someone is sad, validating someone’s feelings and helping them to feel understood.
Captain Marvel had this bit about how she’d gotten knocked down a lot in her life but she always stood back up and tried again, and watching it made me realize I was focusing too much on my “failures” and wasn’t giving myself enough credit for my tenacity. I cried.
He’s just not that into you– the 2009 movie always opens my eyes to how stupid we as women can be for men and stay stuck in relationships that don’t serve us or aren’t really going anywhere and will probably not go anywhere.
I re-watch it always when I feel I’m overdoing anything for any man.
Tell the truth. He’s fine. That’s it. Nothing wrong with that, most people are fine. But it’s not about him. It’s about why the fuck you think he deserves you. You deserve someone who makes you feel like you’ve been struck by fucking lightning. Don’t you dare settle for “fine.”
From Winnie the pooh – even if you are an Eeyore, people can and will love you.
Depression turned me into Eeyore, and I was loved and included by friends and family. When I find it hard to love myself, I look at how pooh, tigger, roo all treat eeyore
