Soulshine- Gov’t Mule

Big Sean – I Don’t Fuck Wit You
Daly City Train – Rancid
Frankly, none, or something extremely obscure.
My mother was always very clear that she wanted Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World” played at her funeral. It sucks to have a traumatic experience tied to a song that you can easily bump into. I can be having a pleasant day and it pops on the radio and while I’ve now gotten to a point that it doesn’t bother me as much, I could be having a perfectly pleasant day and that starts playing over store speakers, on the radio, wherever, and it was just a reminder of the loss.
Hank Williams- I’ll Never Get Out of This World Alive
I just wanna live by Good Charlotte
Old Pine.
I’ve got a play list and I’ve also directed a jazz band at my celebration.
Beta radio – on the frame
Duel of the Fates – John Williams
Enter the gladiator.
I used to have a playlist for this. But I don’t want a funeral. Or more accurately don’t care if I have one.
“Pop Goes The Weasel.” Verrrry slowly. Just imagine the faces of the people attending…..
the force theme from star wars
No Surprises- Radiohead
Immigrant Song by Led Zeppelin as my corpse slowly floats from shore to the center of a lake on a small wooden boat which is remotely set to burst into flames also igniting a fireworks display. Keg party and hog roast upon conclusion
I’m not having a funeral but if I did it would be Creeping Death by Metallica

My dad’s one request for his funeral is that we play You Can’t Always Get What You Want by the Rolling Stones.

Funerals are for the living, not for the dead. They may choose what they think fits.
Pop songs at funerals aren’t a thing in my culture.
Chopin Sonata N. 2 – Grave: Doppo Movimento
