Hi! I have to speak in court soon for a parenting time case. I am a 16 year old girl. What should I wear? Any other advice would be greatly appreciated too. Thank you!!

Honestly, whatever you feel comfortable in within reason.
Honestly, if you have something you wear to church, that’s great (however, I understand if you don’t, I don’t). When in doubt, long sleeves, pants v. shorts, long dress/skirt v. short, etc. Avoid bare shoulders and exposed middrifts.
Advice: Listen to the questions. Only answer the question, don’t provide more info when asked. Give a second or two after the question is asked for any objections. Remember, you aren’t on trial here.
Anything you’d wear to church or other similar event. Respectfully dressed up. But really anything that isn’t torn/ disheveled or otherwise would work.
If you have pants or a skirt that aren’t denim, that’s a good choice. That paired with a blouse or longer sleeve top (no shoulders or tummy showing).
Sorry you are going through this. That you are even thinking about what you should wear just shows that you are more mature than probably most of the adults who have to go to court on the daily. I hope you get the outcome you want. 🙏
