What type of people buy those “get rich quick” courses from influencers?

r/

I am genuinely confused as to how some of these influencers like Polina Nioly make a living off of posing as rich, selling money maker courses, and profiting from it. They all have a certain level of profit, even if it’s not a lot, which just makes me think; who is buying these courses and giving all of this money for these individuals?

If you look online, some of the courses are quite expensive: we’re talking like $200-$700 per month.

Do you know someone who has bought a course like this? Why did they do it? Were they a little… simple, perhaps?

I have a few friends like this. Basically they are so horny for money they can be duped by anyone.

Yes, these have been around for years since before there were influencers.

There was one series called “Money And You” which was popular in Asia. I had some friends who were quite into it because they didn’t have much else going for them- not much education, hard to find jobs. They tried to get me into it too and didn’t like it when I declined. One of them said that it had taught him to be assertive and get what he wanted and one of those things he wanted was me. You can imagine how that went down.

I saw an interesting take from a channel called Folding Ideas. Basically, there are people who see the rich as the boot who steps on and kicks the poor, but instead of wanting to remove that boot and protect the poor, they want to become that boot. However, because the goal is so high (you can’t be the boot if you are only middle class) and system is inherently unfair, the only way to become wealthy is through scams such as cryptocurrency and sketchy AI courses.

Those are the same type of people who would buy a magic bean for their garden. Gullible saps if there were a true money making secret that wasn’t just have money and buy more money making industry then we wouldn’t have billionaires buying every tiny startup and ousting those original starters
