I was driving back from my cousin’s wedding across the country. My sister and her fiance’ rode with me to hang out at my place for a couple days and to be photographers for us and so we could take their engagement photos for them. Louisiana to Wisconsin is a long drive, so the day was mainly spent napping, listening to audiobooks, and watching my future brother-in-law experience other states for the first time in his life. He was amazed by the St. Louis Arch.
We got into town around sunset and played a board game, then went to bed.
I didn’t start getting nervous until the day of, mainly due to the girls taking FOREVER to get ready and forcing us to drop one of our planned events that day. On the bright side, they both looked great for photos.
