What was something that motivated you to workout more?

r/

I was doing so good the start of this year, I started working out more often after a breakup, but now that I have healed from it, it’s like I lost my groove and don’t find any motivation. I don’t know where I lost the motivation but I miss it, what are some tips to get back on the horse?

When clothing started to feel less comfortable than usual.

I started playing hockey and was in terrible shape. I wanted to improve on ice, so I started prioritizing trimming weight and getting stronger. My performance on ice improved and I had way more fun during games.

Getting more positive attention from women didn’t hurt either.

Holding my ~1 year old son in his diaper and me in my underwear. Both shirtless. We basically looked the same. Kinda chubby bald white people.

I love pizza and cheeseburgers but I hate what pizza and cheeseburgers do to me if I don’t work out.

Getting active dogs. It definitely motivates me to go running a lot more often that I did before. Even if you don’t have one, most shelters look for volunteers to walk theirs.

I also keep at it because being slender is one of the only conventionally attractive things about me so I want to keep that.

No man should die before once knowing what he is truly capable of physically. Sure when you reach that max version of yours do what you want it’s your body, but knowing it once what you truly are capable of you owe that to yourself
