What was the economy like during Perón’s first administration? What were the influences of Italian fascism?

r/

As an Argentino who grew up during the 2000s, I remember being taught in school that the country grew rich under Peron’s government by selling agricultural products to Europe after the WW2 and that everything was a paradise for workers/lower classes.

During that time, and especially in recent years, I’ve been interested in researching and learning more about that era in my country. While I learned about the Peronist government’s repression and its sheltering of Nazi/fascist war criminals after the war, something I’ve missed is the Italian fascist influence on the Argentine economy under Perón, something I’ve seen mentioned many times by anti-Peronists (especially corporatism).

So the question is, what was the influence of fascism and/or corporatism on Peronism? What was the outcome of these policies?

I thank you in advance for any response you can give me.

Good night, damas y caballeros.
